I love this video. I find it strange because I have had this job. I ran a warehouse for 6 years. It's scary similar. This was an awesome representation of real controls as well. Could have used this game for the training course that I ran for forklift certification. Amazing job boss. I am impressed.

This is basically my jobi unload trucks on a forklift and put them on shelves for the salesman to sell and it's all car parts so that makes it even more fun and I drive like a 60 year old forklift that has a clutch and it breaks down half the time lmao

That dock plate is surprisingly stable. When you put it on I cringed at how little was actually on the vehicle. As for the chock, have you considered adding a dock-lock? It would allow you to precisely control the distance the vehicle is from the dock.

Good lord man, this is spectacular! I love the line of switch above you acting as indicator lights so that you know the mode of your forklift if you go hudless! Also I am getting major flashbacks to my old job where I did this same thing (except I had the extra difficulty of doing this on planes as well).

Used to drive a forklift for CAT and I have to say it was one of the best jobs I ever had.... The only controls you are missing are adjustments for left and right. Darn good adaptation ! 98/100 Realism!

Very cool! I used to work in a warehouse too, and we had hooks that came out from the building to grab the bumper of the truck or semi trailer and pin it in place in addition to the chocks, brakes, and ramp. That would be a cool thing to implement here, but you'd have to use a standardized bumper.

If the trailer move too far, the locking system with a sensor could even sound an alarm to notice the forklift driver that the trailer moved :') Like the real thing

It's not a staging area it is a shipping/receiving area (so they can be sure they prep and receive everything and to keep proper inventory counts)

Where I work, receiving and shipping is done in the staging area. We have all our 80 doors on the same side of the building so we have to receive at the same place we ship to reduce the "put-away" distance.

You should do a warehouse playlist where you send the crates somewhere and have someone in the truck deliver and send the crates and also someone to help you with the forklifts

I drive lifts for a living and watching you driving the lift had me think: It's basically like if i was a farmer watching someone play farming simulator... By the way, you are driving it right, slow and steady is almost always faster and safer. Only thing is you should really look around you a lot more, you're lucky its the weekend and you're alone, otherwise you might have squished someone's foot... or someone haha!

You so need to use this for multi player Monday .. teams that have to go pickup stuff and then bring it back and have it unloaded .. 2 trips and first team to unloaded both loads wins .. One person builds the truck and the other builds the forklift ..

It's really easy. 1 bearing will be the center pivot, use pipes or block to build out about two spaced from the center in both directions. Use a corner pipe or just another block and add bearings for wheels. Only power the front wheels, and don't make the engine super powerful. The bearings in the middle will be free spinning and as you go over things, it will pivot and act as the suspension
