The mines are nice, if you were to make a smaller boat with the sonar you could have a MM where 1 person sets up a course of mines and the other 2 have to work together navigating for as long/fast as possible.

Awesome build. I'd have liked so see the radar and depth charge controls accessible from the captains chair for easy multiplayer use. As it stands this ship needs a crew of 3 to operate.

I'd say it's a little bit more of a mine layer than a depthcharge boat. Depth charges are supposed to sink rapidly and explode at a certain water pressure (in this case, you could probably get away with using timers for the water pressure explosion), but I'm not sure how effective using super heavy items on the depth charges would be in relation to the buoyancy of the explosives and potato cannons...

The depth charges work more like proximity mines which you could set for just under the surface for anti-ship purposes and deeper for an anti-submarine area of denial weapon

Also with the editing it should be able to create a smart torpedo or ship to ship missile

Great boat, the depth charges and detection system were interesting. However, the detection system would be called sonar, not radar. Sonar is used to detect targets underwater. Radar is used to detect aerial threats.

usually the depth charges is stored in the back open and not in a closed box, at least that what i saw from WW2 ship footage

I would say that would not be practical in this case,since the bombs that are exposed are a huge target due to the bombs being a much bigger target that it’s real life equivalent,but either way,if something hits it,it’s dead.

How did Moonbo get so much water in his world?? I want to make a battleship war with my friends, but the water that surrounds the creative world (or even an extra large tile full of water) isn't enough space for everybody to move arround

Scrap Mechanic has a built-in Tile Editor to create your own creative worlds. You can also find player-made Tiles in the Steam Workshop

something i wnna ask, how do you make a boat that doesn´t sink with acceleration, each time i try making a boat no matter the material it will start sinking if i accelerate and then it will get stuck in depth no matter the speed or if im standing in place, how do i fix it, it happened with and without mods in it and propellers dont really give much power. any tips?
