this is such a good series or whatever you want to call it to watch man, as a destiny vet it’s so refreshing watching someone new to destiny play but someone who isn’t new to games so it’s still relatively fun and engaging to watch

Yeah. Some of us have just played this game entirely to much. That’s the only way I can see people having an issue. I’ve got 4k hours into this and still plenty more for me to do. With the new player onboarding experience was better. He doesn’t know to look in his inventory to see the champion logos and of yiu scroll over them it tells you how you can stun them. He rent know much about he artifact and that’s a destiny problem.

Watched your first video and this one. I keep wanting to help teach, having over 6k hours I know a thing or two, but the random chatter spoke some serious wisdom, once you have an endgame mindset it's hard to have as much innocent fun. The discovery of the countless builds you can make and playstyles to try is unforgettable; I often miss those times I ran around a patrol area just killing stuff, thinking I was really doing something.

The master chief comment is an Easter egg. In Destiny 1, during one of the missions, you can scan a coufin labeled 117. And the dialogue says it's an old warrior just tired of fighting, wanting to be left alone.

When you pulled out the sniper on the tank and then said wrong weapon and switched off to your primary--actually a sniper rifle is great for a tank because you need to shoot each of its thruster legs, which is a crit spot until it's damaged. When the yellow numbers become white you want to change target to a different one. But a sniper is good for the job.

Yeah, it takes a long time to understand game through and through, but once you do, it loses it's charm pretty quickly, it's just mainly chasing God Rolls over and over. The main thing that keeps me engaged is build crafting. I really like testing and trying different builds, especially in GMs. I also do like PvP, but I wish Bungie spent more time balancing it properly.

She is Caiatl, empress of the Cabal, a different faction than the Red Legion who invaded our system. When she first showed up, she wanted us to bend the knee, and this mission was a kind of ritual combat for resolving that power struggle. She's now a strong ally and has a great relationship with Zavala.

Just a hint if you need more special or heavy ammo drops, on your helmet you can put on a special or heavy ammo drop mod to get more ammo. I use it all the time so i'm always loaded.

Outbreak is awesome. The nanites add a lot of damage, you currently stun unstoppable champs and can fits perfectly into a lot of builds.

Right click on the exotic engram to see what exotics you miss. The weapons only drop once and its a checklist. After that you'll only get armor. Solo legend lost sector's also have some exclusive exotics so you'll run into those at some point.

You can drop those power cores temporarily (by pressing your weapon switch keybind) so you can fight and then pick them back up.

Getting platinum rating for the NF gets you better loot. Gotta take out every champ to get platinum. Some people rush through NFs, and end up de-spawning the champs before they get killed. Screwing over the drops. Gotta learn all the champion spawning timing/locations.

Gotta find a few people that can be patient and not clear a room in 2 seconds by themselves lol with his exited he gets with a kill with nova I already know when he builds out and understands his first meta build he’s gunna go nuts

Bro, loving your Destiny videos, keep it up, but here is some basic NF 101 tips you should always think about before going into any NF … - You should read what champions, surges and threats are for the Nightfall you’re going into. - Adjust your seasonal perks & weapons for the champs you’re going to go against. - Adjust your weapons (and maybe your build) for the surges you can benefit from - put resistance mods on in your chest armor for the threats you’re going to face.

If you like warlock, you really should try solar warlock with “heat rises” as your main aspect, it lets you eat a grenade in order to give you near endless flying, you are able to fly around and ADS shoot without falling. Every kill you get while flying gives you more time with the “heat rises” buff up to 30 seconds straight, and you can keep the buff infinitely as long as you get a kill within 30 seconds. I highly recommend it, each kill also gives you grenade energy so you can just spam solar grenades and melees midair.

The most broken Warlock aspect is Feed the void by far. Every Prismatic warlock is using Feed The void + something else. Devour buff gives you grenade energy. Heat rises kills givees you melee energy.

⁠​⁠@@Q_Quiccyeah, make sure you use the aspect that buffs grenades if you do this (called touch of flame), you can also get restoration x2 if you use the phoenix dive class ability with heat rises active and then use the ember of empyrean fragment to extend the duration of restoration x2

skating requires a sword with the perk eager edge the rest is just muscle memory but i would start learning it on hunter its the same timing just 1 button switches the air key vs super key but hunters doesnt need their ultimate to skate so they can skate anytime on stasis and fails doesnt consume ur ult so no loss by failing just a tip ^^ if u still wanna do it on warlock pvp is ur best option create a solo match and put ultimate regeneration to the highest like ult comes up in 3 sec but u will need to grab heavy ammo all the time but these are 2 rly good options to learn skating otherwise openworld u need the event flags they give full ammo & ability´s like raid banner so its best to take a map where there is always some events running if u choose option nr 3

For dungeons and raids, they dont tell u how to do them, so u gotta figure out how to do mechanics for each dungeon and raids which are all different. Dungeons are easier to do solo than raids, but it can still be hectic solo

Oh Boi here we go. You need to understand some mechanics regarding champions, there are 3 kinds, barrier, overload and unstoppable. Every one needs certain artifact mods or special weapons with built in specific mods. This season we can shoot through barrtier champions shieds with scout rifles, stop the unstoppable with pulse rifles and stun the overload with grenade launchers. There is also the radiant the jolt and the freeze. If you pull up your inventory on the left of your guardian you will find the icons and the legent to it. Also Destiny is kinda in Halo universe. There was a mission in destiny 1 i belive where you found a capsule with a very powerful guardian, who didn't want to be woken up - people belived it was Master Chief. There were many more signs like his helmet in one of the strikes, ok more like a building shaped like it.

DUUUUDE! lets do a raid together sometime. They are mindblowing but make sure when you do one you have a team that will TEACH you, not carry you. Protest if you get put on add clear or get pulled to an encounter or if someone does a "cheese" or something like that. Get the good experience, not the farming raid clears experience.

Use the Exotic gauntlets with a glave, actually, with the next unique stasis glave, it's good for end game also. Ps: on armour focus, don't go above 30 or 40 on intellect, its diminishing returns after and the super is filled with kills and mods in the armor anyway. Focus strength, even if you don't care about it, it's going to squish out everything else but not intellect.

@gavindively4264 Usually I'd agree but A) I started new characters on XBOX to play with a buddy and he kind of flaked, so now I'm on Xbox and have 1 total friend in destiny and B) now you have to complete a nightfall for mission completion. So I'm stuck treading water. I played all the way through Taken King before. Including hundreds of nightfall and hundreds of raids, so it isn't an accomplishment, just an unnecessary roadblock.
