It’s not about who refuted who akhi, If you praise an inovator you are deviating. But a lot of people fall into extremes. I am not supporting hizbiyah but I also don’t support praising innovators. May Allah bless you

Just to clarify Sheikh Ibn Utheymeen isn't against the lable Salafi and Salafis them selves of course, what he was referring to was the people who have this mentality of "you say something about my sheikh? You are an innovator". Infact the sheikh has used the word in His sharh of al aqeedatu Al wasitiyyah.
