I cannot stop replaying the game for its amazing transitions, gameplay, jokes, laughter, emotion, and absolute humor most importantly the bond of trust that gets built overtime then broken.. in the end Leo and Vincent realize they needed to end it but still trusted each other to the very end it was out of anger and denial to the betrayal but deep down you can see Leo cared he gave the note to carol and held/shake hands with Vincent before his death.. so did Vincent he held Leo’s hand to know he’s not alone as he was in pain slowly dying. I think Vincent’s death is cannon, I say that because Vincent has done his job to get revenge on Harvey for what he did to his brother.. I know Vincent has a new born but I suppose he served his purpose to rest with his brother. The Leo death ending wasn’t that good it was absolutely depressing that Vincent didn’t even give the written note to carol only if Vincent dies it’ll be given 😢

As much as I don’t like you can never have a happy ending, I feel like a 3rd ending where they both live would ruin the impact of the endings and would make it hit less hard. That’s the problem I had with GTAV. I feel like option C was happier, but it felt rushed and just a rushed way out so players could have their ‘ideal happy ending’. So the ending hit less hard in GTAV, unlike here, no happy ending, one way or another you’re killing your partner and breaking a heart and leaving a kid with no father. Though, Vincent was a backstabber he had his reasons, Leo was responsible for killing Vincent’s brother. Leo had his own reasons, he felt betrayed, which he was, and he didn’t want to die and neither did Vincent. So yeah, an ending where they both live, the happy ending, would make 0 sense, probably rushed and give the endings less of an impact.

I love this game and at the same time I hate the ending... The choice... There is no choice. I always play as Vincent who is my fav but for me the more logic ending is Leo going away alive. Probably it looks less tragic (while Vincent personally knows Leo's family) than the other ending but more realistic. I see no reason why would Vinc shoot Leo at this very moment when they both barely stand on feet. While Leo being more emotional was completely angry and lost at this point. Damn I wish they both could live and split their ways
