I have used BetterHelp myself and I have found it to be very effective. BetterHelp is an online portal that provides direct-to-consumer access to behavioral health services. The online counseling and therapy services are provided through web-based interaction as well as phone and text communication. BetterHelp costs £140 a month - which gives you 4 live sessions a month and unlimited messaging in between sessions, as well as access to the group therapy webinars that get updated each week. You can also apply for financial aid while signing up, which can reduce the cost of the service by up to 40%. When you go through the signup process, you will be presented with the payment page and can elect not to pay. You will then be asked if the price was too much and will be given the option of financial aid. You can sign up for the BetterHelp Online Counselling service here - betterhelp.com/narcsurvivor By using this link you will be supporting the Narc Survivor community.

These videos are sickening to me. I experienced all the hatred, vile, and injury from my sibling narc, and these videos almost give me nightmares of what I lived through. My mother had said long ago and sometimes repeated how jealous my sibling was of me. my sibling could have had anything I had - except that my sibling was lost by the time they were 10 years old. My sibling lived in a different reality of their own making. The hatred and sadism was so palpable, that I feared for my life.

So basically their hearts become hardened and colder as the days go by. Therefore it becomes a stone. That stone then transforms upward to the face and the face becomes a cold stone image to behold. Almost like a Medusa effect, they turn to plaster and shatter.

Their a complicated mess but choose that all on their own (sneaky, cunning, lying, cheating, stealing, drugs ect)..One big problem that contributes to them not trying to open up is they don't trust but their the ones that noone can trust..It's a losing battle

@@DawnCasazzaLee Yes, we're so trusting. I had 2 women bravely tell me he was cheating. I just couldn't believe he'd be with someone 25 years older than him. I am thankful they tried to tell me. It made it much easier to demand divorce when she called our home.

Once you give yourself that space, you need to gather your thoughts and all the past events that happened, good or bad. You can accept those feelings and accept that you weren't the problem, and you can let go. And really can focus on yourself, your life, the thing's that matter to you the most and definitely keep those toxic negative narcissists out of your life, because you don't want to slip back into the narcissists control or manipulation because you feel weak,it's just a temporary feelings of a memory it well pass. You can tell yourself l'm worth more than a fleeting emotion, and you deserve something more than that. Then you can see you are capable of more and a healthy sustainable, tangible relationship, connection, and marriage, career etc, everything positive in your life.

Yes, exactly ! In my case I have to deal with him everyday because he controls everything. Each time he comes over I listen to a narcissistic survivor video. That strengthens me to stand firm. 1:03:43

When I was in the eighth grade, I was sitting with my class. I had so much abdominal pressure I couldn't help but start farting as I ran out the door to the rest room. I gradually began to connect eating towards bedtime with stomach problems in the a.m.

I understand, but it was just an example. That situation may bring up some shame, so just imagine something more extreme, such as ruining a person's life and denying it and blaming them. It locks them down, and affects their perception and experience for the rest of their lives.
