A Wedding That Will Move You: Rowden & Leizel

Early this year, Rowden and Leizl decided to get married on July 8, 2014, Rowden's 30th birthday. Together with their adorable 2-year-old daughter, they already had a perfect family.
Then a twist of fate, Rowden got diagnosed with stage IV liver cancer in late May. His last request was to marry his one true love. After 12hours of preparations, his dream was fulfilled. Unable to take him outside the hospital, we brought the church to him. It was like a heartbreaking fairytale.
Rowden Go, at the age of 29-years-old, passed away on June 11, 2014. Less than 10hours after he said his vows.
He is survived by his wife Leizel May, daughter Zakiah Rowzel, mother Lorelei, and brothers Hasset & Hisham.

Just after I lost my wife I thought I should kill myself since I thought I lost everything / the most precious thing / my blessing. However, if I die, she would most probably feel very sad, so I thought again and decided to live. I would live as long as I could and I'd like to live for her. I'm sure she would be glad to see me living happily.

Husband isn't trapping her in any form. And from a realistic point...of course she can marry again...but many countries as well offer benefits for widows. But that is beside the point...the point is that he wanted to show how much he loves her by keeping his promise to marry her...and they went through with it because the one thing you need to fight cancer...is a clear mind that is full of good thoughts. Unfortunately this young man was beyond being healed...but I would say that this was worth it....because if he had to die either way...he can at least die with his mind being a tiny bit more at ease...having fullfilled one of his biggest goals that he wanted to fullfill in his life.

When I first watched this video, I was near death in the hospital. I had spent a year there, on and off. On July 4th I received lifesaving surgery to rid an infection. Thank you for this video and sharing it with us. It is comforting to know that he was not alone and was loved to the end. But Rowden was so loved by Leizi, their daughter and his family, that his brother helped him marry the woman he loved and had shared a life with. When his spirit left this mortal plane, it was lifted up with all the love of his wife, daughter, family and friends --- Because love is the only thing that transcends all and carries on within the heart of those loved.

The worst thing you can ask a person you like is to step back when they don't wanna. This is so beautiful, and heartbreaking at the same time. My daddy was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer ... and when i saw him, the image of my daddy came to mind ... This is the most touching, the most beautiful wedding i've ever seen and no other wedding could top this, in my opinion. God bless them both, and may he rest peacefully in Heaven :') ❤

One of the most endearing qualities we have as human beings is the ability to love. This tribute by Rowden's brother Hasset is a memory for his family, friends of Rowden, and the people who cared for him before passing away in the Philippines General Hospital. I would hope those of you foolish enough to leave hateful or inappropriate comments would remove them out of respect to the family. Consider your thoughts and actions carefully in life those of you that hate and disrespect, for one day you may find yourself on a lonely journey with no one to show care and compassion for you when you may be in need of it most.

Joyce Laroga 1 second ago what is sadder is that all the best mans ( two of groom's brother - the one who post this video have died also with the same illness) in the span of three years...Everyone held on for the youngest brother to survived as his was detected early but sadly passed also last year in 2017...God bless their Mother who remained strong despite being broken many times over....
