lol... it's already in a pot... but I am pretty sure that's some kind of pet... of course, it might not be living room comfortably... I would imagine turtle for eating will be in a more manageable size where you can kept on a farm, sell in the wet markets, slaughter in the kitchen and serve in a pot that fits on a regular kitchen table.

Really enjoyed your vlogs and your commentary! As someone who has travelled to HK a number of times since they were a kid, I weirdly consider it to be like my second home, since every time I go there, it just feels as if time had never passed since my previous visit and I know my way around. The last time I was there was right before the pandemic started, but I'll finally be going there again for Christmas/New Years and I'm really looking forward to it! It's such a lively and beautiful place to be!

I watched this on an empty stomach and my tummy is GROWLING, the food looks so amazing!! The bouncy food texture is commonly referred to as "QQ". copy pasta from the internet - "The term originated from Taiwan, where Q sounds similar to the local word for “chewy”, but it's evolved to mean a little more than that. The Asian version of al-dente, QQ foods are soft but not mushy - they must offer some resistance to the bite". The more you know.

I've never been to HK and I hope I'm able to visit soon with my parents, who wanted to take me back before the protests but no time. So many subtle moments in this vlog made me smile and reminded me of my childhood even though I grew up ABC. The dried orange peels, my mom always makes fun of me for liking that but my grandma always fed those to me. I also had a Chinese checkers and Chinese chess set at my grandparents place that I would often play. And like a lot of Canto ppl remember pre-pandemic, the classic dim sum carts and the aunties serving them. Growing up, we didn't have the black sesame soup that often but my grandma always made walnut dessert soup and that was my sister's favorite. Hope you get a chance to read this and I can't wait for you to vlog again in HK

Also, if you wanna try something new next time in Hong Kong, you should try exploring the New Territories like 大埔or 沙田 and the other islands, like 長洲or大澳 or even 赤柱 because it seems like you only walked around HK island and Kowloon, which is understandable cause you only have so much time. but those other part are also pretty good and have different atmosphere than HK island and Kowloon.
