the moment you said the poisoner's tale was set in italy I was immediately like "Oh, acqua tofana" hahah. @ Anyone in the comments here, even if you dont read the poisoner's tale book book specifically I do encourage you to read up about her. I don't think tara mentioned but Guilia was a real person who really did make poisons disguised as cosmetics. Interesting woman.

Omg I have a portuguese version of the sewing guide! It was recently gifted to me by a relative who found it in a vintage shop. It is an awesome book! It has so much information I actually wondered if it was also available in other countries 😊

Dame Elizabeth Blackadder was an Edinburgh based artist, if you are ever up in Edinburgh there are a number of her works at both the National Galleries of Scotland and the Scottish Gallery in South St. David Street.

I still need to make the Greta - I feel a black version would solve a major wardrobe gap but struggling to find a nice black fabric! Might be worth trying the Urban Decay Ultimate Ozone Multipurpose Primer Pencil for your Lippy - I have major runny allergy eyes at the mo & stops my eyeliner running down my crevices😂 so worth a shot ❤

Hello! I just started watching your podcast a month or so ago and I absolutely love it. I like to put it on while I sew. Have you read the book The Other Side of Mrs Wood? It's historical fiction about mediums in Victorian London. I really enjoyed it.

Thanks for sharing your books. I really love your Greta dress and recently purchased the pattern on your website and am planning to make the top version in a black broderie anglaise that I purchased from Ditto Fabrics in Brighton. I'm currently reading Roald Dahl Ghost Stories that is a collection of short ghost stories that Roald Dahl chose from different authors that he enjoyed and decided to compile into this book. Have you read that one?
