Omg Angie I don’t have the words to even start to explain how sad (I’m in tears right now watching you) I am for your family. I am so so so sorry you had to go through this. I have to admit Nathan was family to all of us. We knew him as well as we know you. I am keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers while you go through this sad sad time. Angie my heart breaks for you. I know that pain so well. To me it felt like losing my child (and yes I do have human children)...but that love for our pets is the real deal. Grieve but know Nathan was the luckiest dog in the world. No one was more loved and cared for and happy in this life than little Nathan and all because he was lucky enough to have you. Thank you for sharing this. I have an 18 year old pet and when her time comes ...it will be easier for me because you shared this.

So sorry for you. I know so well what your going through. I’ve had many dogs and it’s so hard because they are our babies. Big or small,old or young.We love them and they love us unconditionally.Its so hard to make that call but we really have to think what is best for our babies.We love them so much we just can’t let go. Angie, thank you so much for bringing Nathan into our lives as we watch each week when you share your life with us. We have had a few animals that have died and left us with many fond memories once a grieving process has calm down. Thank you for letting us know every little funny things that Nathan was doing know how much I appreciate seeing all of your travels from your vacation to your weekend visits to your son. Angie, you must believe me when I say I look for your videos first and foremost when I log onto KZbin. I have MS my daughter was diagnosed about a year ago with the same MS. & homebound. I love watching your videos where you include a little bit of your weather, and a lot of your life. That's going on. Thank you Angie for all that you do from your clothing hauls to your Walmart shopping trips to your life with Brian and you're new activity of going to the gym! Bravo! Angie, I am so so sorry. I feel your pain as I had to put my buddy down a few years ago. I'm 63 and it was the first time I have ever experienced that. Absolutely broke my heart. I had him for 16 years and he too was my best friend. It's so hard for some to understand cause to them, they are just a dog. But for dog lovers, we know they are like our child. Especially once your own children have grown up, we just need a little guy to baby and mother. Hang in there....But don't worry if it takes a while...I still can look at his picture and it will make me cry. Hugs and prayers for you.

I'm so sorry for your loss Angie. I loved to see Nathan on your blog, he was adorable and the cutest little fella ❤ I will miss him. Thank you for sharing him with us. You and Bryan were the best parents Nathan could have. You both rescued him and took him into your hearts, and your family. You did all you could for him, and no one could have loved him more. Never apologize for being upset. When my Yorkie Pip died (he had Diabetes and Cushing) I cried for a full month. I cried at the vets, at work and in the supermarket - we need to cry, we need to grieve. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, and I know that Nathan is already in heaven. My pug was 15 years old, but she had the same sickness as Nathan. And my chihuahua was 12 but he was diagnosed with a tumor on his lung. My God, how I suffered... Angie, I'm so, so sorry to hear about Nathan. Those of us who love our animals know there comes a time we have to make the best decision for them. Just wish they could stay around as long as we do. They are such precious souls. I know he had a good, fun life with you guys. I have been through the same thing many times in my life and it never gets easier. We never want them to go. The goal is that they don't suffer and that's where we come in. He had loads of love and he knows it. Sending love to you and your family and to Nathan up in heaven with the other animals. Love from Betty Ann and my last old boy, Popcorn (Poppy) who is now deaf and almost blind but still happy. Take care of yourself this week and know you took good care of Nathan.
