I graduated earlier this year. I don't think it was the best time of my life. it was a time in my life: filled with up and downs, friendship and experiences, and times I cried my eyes out on the bus. I'm looking forward to experiencing more life: getting married some day, having kids, making a difference with my chosen career path, seeing the world. Every time should be the best time of your life, because every era has it's special moments, and excruciating ones as well.

I loved when you talked about how you are being mindful about truly experiencing college. As someone who didn't have that opportunity, immediately entering the work force and living on my own after highschool I sometimes get sad that I missed out on young adult life. I don't have any of those carefree memories to look back on with friends or self discovery. Definitely take advantage of it since you have the opportunity to do so.

I’m in my senior year of college now and if there’s one thing I learned about the “best time of your life” thing is that you can truly have your best moments, meet your forever friends, make unforgettable memories- but I’ve learned to think about the fact that life can always get better and better! it's truly so beautiful to watch you spend time with the people you love, to go to class, to go out and eat good food. you really seem like you're living in the moment. in melbourne, australia, we have been in our 6th lockdown since the beginning of august and are enduring the worlds longest lockdown. i haven't seen my friends since july, i haven't been able to work or go out to eat or even have a picnic. i'll be completing my bachelors degree in film online this month despite our final productions being cancelled. but i just wanted to say thank you for sharing these little bits of your life while still being safe, it reminds me that life will be back to normal soon. ♡

I just wanted to say I love hearing your honest thoughts about things, like how your college experience is going and how you are coping (because it can be really hard). When I was at Georgetown, I didn’t have any friends and wasn’t interested in any clubs. All I did was study and it was pretty miserable. So while you may feel you aren’t doing enough, let me just say the balance you have going looks great to me! I so wish I had a nice cozy apartment (I lived there too!), a cat, such great friends, etc and I’m happy watching you get all of that. Good luck!
