In today’s video I invite you to follow along for a week in my life as I try to figure out how to juggle all the plates and still find time to enjoy family life! There will be LOTS of cleaning, a little decluttering, but also a date night, some lovely walks in nature, self care sessions, and a glimpse of our garden transformation! I hope you enjoy!

Remi, I’ve never commented on a KZbin video before but the way your videos have changed my life over the past year or so is pretty drastic. Your attitude of gratitude has helped me fall in love completely with my life. I have such an incredible outlook on life now. You constantly pushing yourself to always do better has pushed me to go back to school even though I’ve been told not to bother. Your kindness and non judgmental nature continues to remind me to be kind to others always and pushes me to be kinder to myself. I know you probably won’t read this, but I wanted to try to let you know how much you’ve helped me. And how it really does feel like I’m listening to a friend, while I clean my apartment. You should be so proud of yourself. Thank you.

You are such an inspiration i have 2 teenage children at home and 2 older children who are neurodivergent, i am also neurodivergent and have poor mobility,, it is hard but you have shown me that it is ok if you have a bit of a messy house and you can forgive yourself, I am the same as you is it and wait for the appointment later in the day, but I can't get motivated in a morning so its a real struggle, but if I have someone coming round I can get my whole house done in record time, you should be proud or yourself and your amazing family can not wait to see what the future holds for you, keep being real its so refreshing x

I'm probably in the minority of your viewer demographic but i just wanted to say Thankyou Remi! I'm a 30-something man who is a former British Soldier. Suffered with depression and aniexty for over a decade now. A byproduct of this is trashing my house to the point of no return and wondering how on earth a man who could previously be so Regimental would allow his home to get so disgusting. Your videos have helped me take back control of my home. And make it a place for my children to come and visit. Couldnt of done it without your honest videos. Cheers 🖤

Really not even just little, but home. During summer break, weekends, holidays. If kids of any age are home, there are just more people in the home living in it and messing it up. Even if the big kids help out with the house, it’s never the same level of clean that mom does. Brushing your teeth while eating Oreos.

I woke up this morning mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted. When I saw the state of the house I cried and couldn’t stop. I made myself a coffee and had breakfast, a feat in itself with how messy they kitchen was, and then I opened YT to put on some of your videos to body double with, as that really helps me. When I saw you had dropped a new video, especially with the title of this one, you have no idea how much of a boost this gave me. I cried a few happy tears, and I’m now about to watch and clean along. Thank you ❤

A lot of us have the same thoughts and issues. Be kinder to yourself. Being from America (Texas), I just don't understand the lack of clothes dryers in European countries. I appreciate line drying outside, but waiting for the clothes to dry inside the house would drive me crazy. Or do you have a special room in the house for drying clothes?

Remi, you are a God send, I am a 65 year old woman with 4 grown up children and 12 grandchildren. I work full time and look after my aging 85 year old dad since my mum passed away 2 years ago. I also have chronic rheumatoid arthritis and a heart condition...my tiredness gets the better of me every day, so instead of watching someone who has a huge home and has all their ducks in a row, with lots of ads about over priced products, i choose to watch you!...you are real, and caring and always make me feel good about my small achievements no matter what. It is not easy to keep up with everything and I am also a serial worrier when it comes to my children, grandchildren, work and dad, it gives me endless nights with very little sleep, so getting up at 4.30 for work exhausts me...I love to watch how you cope and still manage to help us feel good about ourselves and show us how to combat this tiredness into getting things done, especially when you do the speed clean..my house is tidy but could be so much cleaner..and your video on clearing and re-doing your cupboards has inspired me. My house like yours isn't large and is easy to clutter, so I love to see how you deal with these issues..I find you truly amazing and uplifting. I live in Australia so at least have a lot of sunny days to lift my mood, but you are second to that Remi...I always come away from your videos feeling good and inspired. Keep it up and I will always follow. Marjorie

Remi, I love that you take the time to read with your children! It is so important to their academic development. I’m a retired teacher with 35 years’ experience and I’ve worked with struggling readers for decades. While our brains are designed for language, they are not designed for reading. One way to help develop the pathways for reading in our brains is to be read to from a very young age. Add to that the priceless bonding that comes from giving your children your full attention. You are rocking being a mom! ❤❤ ❤

My mom taught me that a perfect house is a lived in house. A perfect house is a house that you can tell kids play in, meals are made in, a family is comfortable and loved in. Our house was clean but lived in growing up and that’s how I am with my kids now and I how I look at my house ❤ it’s cleaned but lived in.

And hun, the kids will turn 12 and the load of cleaning can be reduced as they can help plus spend time with you doing tasks. The house is small enough to be close without being in the same room. We used to sing popular songs together while cleaning. And dance on small breaks. So you do what makes you happy together while keeping the house livable and loveable . Remi, you are such a breath of fresh air. I am 60 years old and have truly come to understand that we all deal with things differently and that we ALL have thinking issues. I don’t struggle like you do to keeping the house tidy, but I do understand how it’s the thinking, the what’s going on inside my head, that can rob me, and has robbed me of enjoying life. My life always seemed to be orderly, my kids well behaved, friends always asking me how I do it all. When I was your age I was quite puffed up about it. But now I look back and have regrets, and then the guilt can set in, because I can clearly see that I did not pay attention to giving my children, or my husband the attention they deserved. They were neglected. And, I can get really wrapped up in believing that the issues they struggle with are directly tied to my neglect of them 😢. But that too is unproductive on many levels. So, once again it’s the thinking. I have apologized to both my children, we have a great relationship, and they are doing so much better than I did at their age. I am so proud of them both ❤…. Anyway, I am rambling. So much to say, so many ways my mom-heart wants to reassure you that YOU ARE DOING GREAT. You’re dealing with and learning to change your thinking when you realize it’s not realistic. Life is a journey, and you are travelling it well 🥰 Avoid the compare snare - don’t ever wish you were like anyone else. Like you’ve said, “We never know the whole story of anyone.” This comes with love, from a person who has learned to let her house be messy 😊 …. at least, once in a while.

I was so depressed and hard on myself for not being able to do the most simple things, and it makes me happy that - unlike me at the same age - you understand how ADHD works and can give yourself a break. That is half the struggle!

As always, I adore you and your chats. It feels cozy and real. I discovered a cool mindset that might be a fun challenge for anyone who feels discouraged or overwhelmed at chore time. I look at the task, such as dirty dishes and think, “WOW! Look at all this evidence that I had food to eat today!” When I put a gratitude spin on it, suddenly it doesn’t feel like such a drudgery anymore.

Whenever I watched decluttering videos in the past, they didn't speak to real life situations & people. You have become my cleaning buddy and inspiration. I was able to be get a small handle on my housework. I suffer from depression & procrastination. I enjoy watching you with your children & a wonderful mum you are! I loved watching you and your son folding the clothes. 😊 Thank you Remi!

I am a follower from early on, and I see how much you improved your tidying muscles. Whenever feel guilty, remember that tombstone, and what your children will remember of their childhood. It better be the books you read and the fun you had 😊 sending hugs from Luxembourg 🇱🇺

Something incredible about littles is how much of the world they learn so quickly. Honestly, I imagine by two, it's overwhelming. Nothing surprises me about young ones in that age group anymore; at the end of the day, they have good hearts, and as any adult does, they have their moments, too. Thank you again for such an inspiring video.

I really relate to the problem with waiting for things and then going on with other stuff, such as the time I spend awaiting the doctor appointment.😅 From a young age I was a "clothes collector". I always had a problem with gaining weight and throwing clothes, especially "If these clothes fit me, I shall keep them". Now after I lost my mother and needed to move, the stuff i own do not fit in the current space. So every piece of clothing always keeps migrating around the home 😂😂. I'm slowly decluttering with the help of my partner but I have a long way to go! Thats why im thankful for your content, as it reminds me it is about the small steps you take everyday to improve the situation for yourself and your family. Best wishes from Poland ❤🎉

I have two dogs inside and one is 15 yrs old and has bathroom accidents I'm always trying to run behind him and clean up. I have clutter everywhere and two extra bedrooms I just keep the doors closed because of the junk piled up in them! Your voice is calming to me and you make me feel like I'm not crazy..I'm just over whelmed sometimes. The way you work cleaning inspires me and I have done much more than I thought I could. My younger son is autistic. I have had so many people tell me if I would just be a better mother he would be perfectly normal. And usually while they are raising spoiled entitled brats. Everyone thinks they have to right to judge but don't want to be judged themselves. It is hard to ignore such people but your family is your priority. Do what you need to do for you and keep posting videos. Sometimes it helps just to know someone else is also not perfect.

People make such comments when they only see seconds of your life. They don't see the sleepless nights, the sweat and tears you have everyday. As long as you know you are doing your best everyday, that's all that matters.

Much strength, joy and peace for all your extra thoughts, work and pain that nobody sees. The judgements of the others reveal a lot about themselves and not you. They probably would not be able to handle a situation like yours. You can and you do!

Remi. I’ve been where you are, with the little ones, you try to clean and straighten and they seem to be going along behind you creating chaos and undoing everything you’ve just done. I’m going on 63 years old now. Watching your little one in this video gives me such joy and laughter. He’s precious! When they’re young it’s hard to find the middle ground. I’m so glad for you that you’re making these videos, so you will have them to look back at your babies (no matter how old they are), they will bring you such nostalgic joy when they’re no longer at home with you. My boys are 36 and 32 now. I miss their little, loving, messy boy selves so much. ❤️🫂❤️
