Your videos may not be as slick as some which in my opinion is not a bad thing, but your photography cant be beaten. You get better shots from less spectacular locations than most of the youtube photogs. Keep up the good work - you are inspirational.

Ha, my wife said, when she watched it, you were driving very fast weren't you? I assured her it was the dry stone walls and narrow lanes :) The LC handles conditions brilliantly and the only thing hampering progress was stuck cars and lorries.Only other cars on the road not struggling were the defenders.

If you keep pressing the display button it should switch off overlays .

@@PaulGJohnsonphotography no it definitely doesn't Paul, there are four modes of display in live view one with histogram, one with virtual horizon, on with all data full screen display and the last fourth one with battery, iso etc. So no completely clean screen view

I always like seeing what you come up with for wide angle shots. I struggle to effectively use wide angle lenses. I find it more difficult to come up with a composition that fills the frame with interest but not a distraction or a giant area of nothingness. As a result, I always find myself gravitating toward tighter compositions. I was reminded of this when you mentioned how low to the ground wide angle shots was often your "go to" composition. I always find I am ending up just the opposite although I really do love a well composed wide angle image.
@PaulGJohnsonphotography
@PaulGJohnsonphotography 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment David. My go to with intimate landscapes has been 50mm (FF) but if shooting wide angle or ultra wide I feel that a strong foreground element works well for me personally. Getting low down particularly if there isn't a strong back ground (like in the Peaks) can help to balance the image.

Thanks David. It ticks the boxes. EVF in low light is a life saver for me with older eyes. However I can't feel it disconnects me a bit from the experience. Nothing beats looking through an optical viewfinder. Hence me buying the 645. However the weight and particularly size is useful and I can now focus in low light. :)
