Thank you for these videos. God's got you with the choir. Contemporary music is different. People don't always understand. I went from a traditional choir background to a Contemporary team and it took me a couple of months to adjust as a singer. Still learning more every week. I agree with you about videotaping or taking pictures of your children's events. I felt like I was missing the actual event. I try to put my phone away now, even on vacation and just be present in the moment. God gave us a memory for a reason.

Tell you what: I was a choir/theater kid growing up and I loved that my high school recorded our shows so that we could get to see them afterwards because we experienced it from inside and we didn't get to see it from the outside. We could sit and watch it with our friends later and we often did sitting in the choir room. It was also an opportunity for family members who weren't able to make it to be able to see it and that was really special. My kiddo was a choir / theater kid as well and their school did not offer somebody to record it. That meant that family members who weren't in the area and couldn't travel didn't get to see what were sometimes really cool performances. I really missed having that opportunity. My dad was a photographer and he got great photographs of the kiddo and all of their friends in most of the shows that they did and those are really special as kid is all grown up and Dad has passed on.

I love your real life videos! They’re the best. Normalize being normal lol and doing normal things. Crave is delicious but oh my gosh, the cookies are huge! Also, as a main channel subscriber too, I think videos where you show how you shop a sale and meal plan is great inspiration. It shows how you can do that even if you can’t replicate the same meals. At least that’s how I use your videos and others like that. I take the strategy and apply it to my store and sales.

I'm also classically trained and now sing CCM with our church band. We don't usually have the sheet music, just the lead sheet, so it's been super challenging figuring out the notes from the recordings (which aren't usually in the key that works best for our team and congregation. I'm often relieved when I go to community choir and we have lovely printed music with normal rhythms). I do apply my training when I make or edit the lyric slides for projection to make the voice leading more intuitive. Hope this adventure goes well for you and the music team.

I LOVED the Aldi video, and I actually did make a list from the recipes and shopped the sales for the meal plan on Sunday! We're making the ribs, meatballs, and green chili chicken stew from your meal plan along with a couple of family favorites using the same sale ingredients. I really appreciated how much work went into the 24 hour turnaround and it has been fun to cook along. And sharing the meal planning made a hectic week much more manageable, so thank you for sharing that! The work you put in really made a difference for my family this week, and as a single mom having help is a real treat.
