As an Atheist, who has been following you for over 10 yrs, I appreciate that you say you’re not trying to alienate anybody when talking about your beliefs. However, I feel bad that you even have to say that. It’s your channel and you should be able to speak about anything you want. It’s up to us, as your subscribers, to listen if we want to. Mature, understanding people that know your heart, should not take offense. Much love & respect ❤

Something I’ve learned in my twenty one years of raising 6 kids… I used to care so much about having everything in order, clean, tidy, perfect… but. I started letting myself have days off. If I’m having one of those burnt out, can’t get it together days and I literally CAN NOT do any more laundry I simply don’t do it. I’ll do the bare minimum and feed everyone, but sometimes now I just leave everything for the next day. Sometimes you’ve got to just take a breather because one thing is true, it will all be there the next day. Just put it off. I think part of the burnout in today’s world is that inability to feel unproductive. Who cares if you stay in PJs and ignore the mess and chaos for a day?

I'm 74 and retired. As a child, my mom woke me every Saturday morning to help her clean. I haaaaated it and was determined I'd never clean house on a Saturday. Not only have I never cleaned on Saturday (kept that promise to myself 👏🏻), I have a cleaning lady every 6 weeks! Yep! It's just me, but I still have a house cleaner. I keep things picked up and I'll vacuum once in those 6 weeks but I don't feel like I'm full fledge cleaning! The gift of time is the best gift I've ever given myself! 🎉

Serious and embarrassing question.... Our clutter is so terrible that I don't know how anyone could come clean. Do you just throw it all in baskets before they come or do I need to genuinely have the whole house picked up before they clean? I am DROWNING.

@@kendrab1587I feel the same! I have been told by many people that I need to get someone to clean every so often and it would take so much stress off.
@jenn7753Ай бұрын
@@kendrab1587I think most people do a general pick up. If not, the cleaner either uses more time to pick up clutter before they clean which leads to more expense for you, or they have to clean around the clutter which obviously they can’t do as good of a job then.

Don't listen to some of these comments PLEASEEEEE. if you need to put ads on your videos to make a darn living, DO IT. It's up to us as consumers to hold our own boundaries about buying what we see advertised to us. When it comes to a new channel, I love the idea! I think of it as like different angles of friendship. Sometimes I just want to have fun and talk about makeup and decor and cooking and light things about life. Other times I want to have dedicated time with my friends to go deep. Have a Go Deep channel! It would be so fun. Leave the makeup, lifestyle and cooking to your original channel. The new channel can be the combo of the school loving Jessie, plus the wise, vulnerable and deep Jessica!

Thank you for your service to this country. Sometimes we forget that it's not just the soldiers on the battlefield that are making sacrifices in service to this nation. There are husbands and wives here at home, guarding the home fires, while their spouses are keeping the homeland safe from abroad. My sister practically raised her two children while her husband served honorably in multiple operations. He was deployed more than he was home for much of his two decades of service. When he retired after 22 years of service, his commanding officer handed my sister a certificate thanking her for her service as his wife and the mother of his children. So, to sum it all up, thank you and your husband for your service, for you have both made sacrifices and deserve respect and gratitude for doing so. 🇺🇸

I home schooled her and she started working this year, and this has been such a hard lesson for me. People treating her wrong and her letting people walk on her. I'm talking about women in their 30's. Oh and the older sibling being more cautious and careful and the second being what i used to describe my daughter as "my lil demon child" is so true of most family's i know. You were so cute and so excited, and your voice was so high! It was so much fun to take that walk down memory lane. I would like to have gone forward to when you were decorating for your wedding at your parents house, and having your first dance outside. Am I really remembering this? It's been a long time, but you spoke so lovingly about Tyler today, and it makes me so happy that it has all worked out so well for you two. Oh, and I have purchased many lovely items from Quince, especially cashmere sweaters, they are the best place for lovely cashmere at a reasonable price.

Suggestion for keeping toys picked up. I had bins for my kid with pictures of what goes on them on the bin. The rule was one bin at a time per kid. They were required to clean up before moving on to the next thing. It can be done I was a widow rasing a kid by myself from 2 on. They are 22 now, They were super hyperactive and ADHD, so it was rough but it can be done. But you have to set the boundary and stick to it. It really helped my kid when they started school. Just a suggestion for anyone struggling with you clean up. I also did this with clothes did bins instead a dresser so she could get dressed and put clothes away independently. Hope this helps someone.

I'm so late to this video but just wanted to say how much I love this sponsor for your channel! I actually watched the sponsored section and you looked amazing in all the pieces! Definitely a company I would buy from. Such a good fit for you and your channel Jessica! 🩷

I feel like as a family you already have three channels, so it is a lot for us to keep track of. If you are looking to keep this audience as a part of that, just keep it on this channel and label it as the series in the title that might bring in the additional audience you are looking for.

feels like anyone I know with a perfect clean house eats take out for every meal. so I don't think you can do it all, and to me it's way more worth it to actually use my kitchen than have everything look perfect lol

Absolutely love the vlogs - your vlogs are my favorite of all the videos I watch. I also have a cleaning lady and feel embarrassed about it, but it’s the best thing I’ve done as a full time working mom of 2 littles. If you do make a new channel, what if you do a podcast that is on video so it can be just listened to or watched. I would love to have more podcasts from when I don’t have the time to sit and watch

My favorite are vlogs with makeup baked into them and these coffee chats. You look especially radiant in this video. 😊

Ooooh girl. I literally had a cleaning service come right before my brother’s family came to stay with us this summer. My SIL commented on how clean our home was and I just said “Thank you!” 😅

I grew up with 3 sisters and it has definitely played a part in how many kids I wanted. We have 3 now and we’re done, but I would happily have more! Me and my sisters are all still close and they were definitely the best part of my childhood! Also, keeping my house clean is something I am so self conscious about. I beat myself up about it all the time if I leave a mess out. I’m trying so hard to find a happy medium.

Oh my gosh I feel so seen! 😂 when you said you don’t know your siblings’ exact ages I could COMPLETELY relate! 😆 and I always feel guilty saying that when someone asks me how old they are lol. I have 4 siblings and I’m ALSO the second youngest 🙌🏼

I love all the content on one channel but I understand if you want another channel. I actually get notifications for all the content.❤ Talking about children, I believe experiences and exposure is great to. My child at 3 had attitude that just seemed a bit intense. I took her to a psychologist and diagnosed her as oppositional defiant. She told me to never home school her because it would be damaging and she needed exposure. I believe it helped her develop to be in public school. She is now a nurse at 21.

I hope you’re all safe during the hurricane❤ not sure if you still went to Disney or not! For your channel, I think a new one would be really cool! I think you should have it almost like a talk show… invite friends or family like your sisters or mom who can answer to some of your topics!! I think that would be so fun!

I wish you would talk about your cleaning service more. Please normalize finding life hacks that make your life easier. This is a huge one, as it frees up your time, similar to a grocery delivery/curbside pickup. The more we talk about it, the more we will all stop feeling shame for doing something for us.
