Such fun - a day in the life of Ruby! Love your new desk - I have one a similar style only has a cupboard at bottom where I can store my journals and folders of paper scraps. Ordered the nature journal kit off Etsy. Can't wait! Have a wonderful solstice.

I would come to your funeral if I could. I’m in the US and I will probably go before you..I’m 69 lol. You have been and continue to be such an inspiration to me and to others as well. Your sewing machine is amazing…I have an old one too that I need to bring out of my shed. I expect I will do just that in the Spring. I am collecting many of your zines. Devine intervention… oh your beautiful energy makes us all wish we could be neighbours & friends ♥ No negative’s on your new adventure 😉 honestly if it’s meant to be, you know the rest. You make me want to make a zine just for the fun of it. I am older than you but I too was a very young single mum I loved it, had a great time at all the playgroups & lucky enough to attend a family workshop where I learned soo many arts & crafts (do they still exist?) I’m watching as I’m writing this with a coffee in hand like we’re having a chin wag, you are such good company 😂 oh that bureau is gorgeous & so is Lucy (I’ll look her up) Ruby’s Super Power is making us all feel good Thank you Sweetheart for all the Smiles, laughs & (another) lovely coffee break ☕ 🥰 (My 9 yr old Granddaughter adores Snails 😉)

Lovely video, Ruby. I recently found your channel and have slowly been making my way backwards. I love your natural, unpretentious style and enthusiasm for many things I find precious myself. Plus, you're encouraging me to start to play again with my art materials. I agree with you, absolutely, about modern things having a 'fail' mechanism built into them and the consumerist consequence of that. So much waste. I'm sad my Mum got rid of my gran's hand-driven Singer which I found a very comforting, beautiful thing as a child. The bureau is really beautiful. Congratulations. It's so brilliant to repurpose things and experience the craftsmanship and gorgeousness of them..x

My nan had one of those singer machines complete with its own table which i had in my bedroom for a while, I think my mum eventually just gave it away to the rag and bone man many year ago! Your zines look wonderful by the way, I must practice making some.

Hiya Ruby! I'm a new subscriber, I just found your channel a few weeks ago - you've been keeping me company when I'm crocheting late into the night, lol, that's the time when I'm most productive. I'm a fellow vegan and also love a cup of Earl Grey! I have a little Etsy shop and crochet hats - beanies, bucket hats though I only use either cotton or acrylic yarns. @@DottyDelightful It's called HHArtDesignShop - it's got a bit of old artwork on there too, digital downloads but after my granddaughter was born I decided that crochet was the way forward! I hadn't done it for years but was able to pick it up again with a bit of perseverance! I do still love to paint / make art and have recently just bought some Gansai Tambi Japanese watercolours that I've been experimenting with. Actually your videos have inspired me to take a longer look at some of the beautiful things around me whilst I'm out walking the river path with my dog Valerie! So thank you xx

you could get a bio ethanol fireplace insert they arent that expensive and would let of some heat and is safe to have indoors
