Jordan Mailata is one of my favorite Eagles because the guy went from absolutely no knowledge of American football to basically an all-pro OL in 7 years. The guy moved to a place half a world away from his home, worked his backside off, and is now one of the core players of the team. A huge win for the Eagles FO and coaches in scouting and development, but it wouldn't have been possible without the guy himself absolutely committing himself to a totally new sport, and not only learning quickly and well, but excelling in it too.

Normally, I'd want to steer away from football projects (hello Danny Watkins!) but I am so happy that Jordan Mailata worked out for us. He truly represents Philly grit considering all that he's accomplished despite playing football so late in life. Also helps that he's a stand up dude with a voice of an angel.
