You've made a great amount of progress, congratulations. I love how they both are turning out. I'm with you on the backstitch, I wish designers would do a separate chart just for the backstitching. Beautiful! I say you’ve been given an opportunity to really improve French knot making skill and if you take it then your knots will be perfect by the time you put the last one in.😊

WOW you did really well on the Wolf, dimensions kits are a nightmare of confetti and back stitch for me. Your cat has the most stunning blue eyes I have ever seen, she’s gorgeous. Thanks for the info on the London piece, I’ve thought a long time about getting that one but I think I might give it a miss lol. It does look amazing though. X

You have made a lot of progress of both charts!! And they both look stunning! I've taken a break from stitching for the past month and a half or so and I got back to it this morning. I'm currently working on a chart I started years ago called Santa's Visit by Cathy Livingston. (I doubt it's still in print.) It also uses blended threads and uses a fair bit of metallic thread too. The other project I want to work on which I've not yet started is Kindness & Fortitude, A Quaker Sampler by Modern Folk Embroidery. The idea of using just one color for an entire project really appeals to me. Looking forward to seeing next week's progress!

Great progress on both. That London chart dies sound confusing and complicated 😅. I managed to get some done on my wolf one as well. Looks great. I am working on that ear too 😂.

I can absolutely relate to what you said how stitching a HAED is completely different approach than a full coverage kit. I’m experiencing that now with stitching the Winter Cabin. Even thou it’s full coverage, something about it feels different. Beautiful progress! Keep up with the good work 😊

Great progress! I love the Thea Gouverneur one, but am a bit scared by what you're telling about the backstitches. I've got the Efteling chart of Thea and already am struggling with doing the XX. That's for later.... This month is strictly Childhood Sweethearts and ASIT for me. We can do this💪

I am just a new fan from Germany. Love to see your progress. The designs from Thea Gouverneur are great - I have 2 big designs finished. But sometimes a little tricky. My first thought about the knots was, why does she not take beads? and then you have already said it yourself. Have fun with your projects!!
