you're the person who got me into collaging because your collage works are all so stunning honestly. The butterflies are still some of my favourites. But all your art, I love how you use colours and values and I thinks it's amazing that your style is so distinct. I'm not a fan of working with clay myself but I love the look of it and yours are so pretty

When working with clay you can make a paste with some clay+water to act as a glue (you can keep it on an airtight container), and also get a bit of texture on the parts that you want to attach before aplying the "glue" 😊

i remember doing this in school art lessons when working with clay. we'd do crosshatching on both pieces we're sticking together, and then put the glue on :)

The clay and water is called slip. There are KZbin videos on how to do it.

The pots came out really well, especially the one with the petals 😍 I made Xmas decorations a few years ago with air drying clay and it took sooooo long to dry. I ended up using a hair dryer (not sure if that’s recommended 😆 but it seemed to work)

You did so Good capturing a more sinister vibe. I always hated the scene in Thumbelina where she is forced to marry the creepy frog. So I really appreciate your artistic take on that scene. I really love how it turned out! Your work is so beautiful keep sharing your art. You are such an inspiration.

That frog looks like a female part that mutated into an evil frog. I adore it. The evil Frogina!

i've always wondered....... the sketches you make are done with graphite right? how do you maintain them so clean?? mine always blur and fade after a while :(
@artwithem66352 жыл бұрын
Yeah I just use plain old graphite, and I try my best to keep them looking clean, I spray them with hairspray which helps and when ever i'm drawing ill put pieces of paper between a few of the pages underneath. It still does end up smudging a little bit over time though, I think its unavoidable unfortunately! Especially cause I use quite a soft dark pencil

I think it’s sad that your teachers couldn’t accept and celebrate your joyful personality which is expressed in your art. Why is dark or creepy needed? I think there is already too much darkness in art, music, film and literature these days. It fatigues the soul. Please stay true to yourself.
