I live in a pretty small town and have only gotten a king oyster mushroom when I drove 3 hours to a bigger city (not the sole purpose of the trip but a plus) - the satisfaction of cutting into that mushroom was phenomenal

I love your bento boxes because they are actually filled with filling food! Most people give a handful of veggies and maybe some chicken wings and I think “he’s still going to be hungry” but when I watch you pack lunch I just know it’s going to be filling and delicious :)

Your videos are so good for grasping how to use certain Japanese ingredients in general. I love that you don't strictly present recipes but more like ideas on what to eat with what and such. After over a year of watching your channel, I've definitely gained a better understanding of ingredients and I just have more ideas about what to cook with what :D

Today I tried the MilleFuille Hot pot and it was a big hit in my house!!! I didn’t have sake but I used cooking mirin and a splash of rice vinegar and it came out DELICIOUS!! We also used enoki mushroom in the middle mand it was GREAT! I highly recommend. I returned to this video ages later because I was streaming of this recipe and excited to try it!! So glad I watch you, imamu!!

It’s very easy to make your own Mayo, it’s just egg yolk, lemon juice or vinegar , mustard and oil. Mix the first three, blend in oil slowly while blending with whisk or stick blender or regular blender. You can even add other things like herbs and catsup.

I have had to prepare my own bento last week and this week, but because it's only for me, I can't be bothered to make such nice bento =_= I even stopped using my bento box this week and am using normal glass food storage dishes with lids. LOL. I hope your husband realizes how loved he is!
