It's always good to see the various days of curls. My hair is more loose waves so I can't get them past day 5 but I can still relate to changes in my waves and successful and not so successful refreshes and half up styles.

Yes! And when I say I wash my hair once a week I think sometimes people imagine that it looks like good curls for 7 days which it obviously doesn’t 😂

Would love to see this type of video again! Your persistence with refreshing is laudable. I just give up and either do a dutch braid and have nice waves that way or leave it in a loose ponytail or braid.

Thank you so much! This video was the week before I did the butterfly cut/double unicorn cut. It has now been 4 days since I cut it and I washed and styled my hair again today and it’s come out really well again.

Thanks Marisa another great video! Was hoping I could ask your opinion on something. As someone who has not really used moisture and protein masks before , I am really confused on how often to include them in my routine..🤔 I have very fine low porosity 2b/2c hair, and I don't know how to figure out if my hair likes moisture mask or rather protein?? And then also how often should I do them? Is it even such a big deal??😉😀

Hi Corne, I would only worry about doing them if your hair is not behaving or you feel something is lacking. No need to do it otherwise 😃 I have a protein moisture playlist which includes my in depth video on how to figure out if your hair needs more protein or not

I’m new to working my curls, I’ve just found how channels. So be kind… but how does your hair not feel greedy on the scalp, and sticky in curls? I sweat a lot at night while sleeping and 3 days would be max I could go before washing. Does your hair actually feel the same on your touch on day 2 as day 5 or 6?😊

Hi! I found over time that my hair has gotten less greasy the more healthy it is. But everyone has different scalps and some people just can’t go past a certain amount of days. My hair just doesn’t really get greasy, eg right now it’s been almost a week since I washed my hair and it’s not greasy and it feels soft. It’s frizzy and undefined though so it definitely doesn’t look like washday for a full week 😅

I have wavy 2b\2c and even if I use the same products, I get different results 😮 it’s like a surprise every time I style them and.... it can be scary sometimes bc it could end up with weird results

Everyone brush styles these days but I cant make it work at all.... it just makes huge clumps even if I go through with a comb. I'm not doing it again!

I don't brush style , because it takes too long and is too much hassle...I just scrunch my products in ....

@Paula Walsh it can be done really quickly. Quick brush through lifting from scalp, I follow with a comb then scrunch but it gives me giant clumps that won't separate for more than 5 mins 🤣 I have a short pixie cut so not much hair and it appeals to me for getting my hair to sit where I want it. I might try a different brush.
