Thank you! This is the first video I've seen with a really good breakdown of all the different gels. I'm just starting to embrace my curls and I'm nervous about what to pick because I have super fine hair that wants to curl, but also frizzes and loves to immediately turn gross with product. I know exactly now what I want to try from the curlsmith line! thank you!!!

That's what I'm going to do. I've been so tempting to dye my hair again but i've been very strong lol it's been two months an half! I don't have gray hair yet, but I really would like to grow my natural brown hair and hopping to grow longer and healthy again from bleaching.

Thank you so much. I've had a hard time finding someone e Who cuts curly hair, and some obstacle always pops up. I have curly hair since it grew back from chemo and it's about the same length and type of curls. This is what I wanted for my hair. I'll be doing rhis soon. Now i jave an idea of how to cut it. Your's look great!

Looking for the comment where someone tells me why i see different hair color altogether 😂
@MarisasCurls24 күн бұрын
It’s literally just the lighting and the difference between my wet hair and dry hair 🤣 I know it looks like a crazy difference in this video but I promise that’s all it is

This video is a balm. I'm about 2 months in to my curly girl journey and I'm struggling to get curl definition and hold. I might try adding my stylers to damp rather than wet hair, as I've been applying them to soaking wet hair and having very little success. I have yet to hit a consistent routine that works for me, and a big part of that has been using shampoo that claims to be clarifying but actually isn't (!!) by hairdressing / curly girl standards. I have fine, low porosity hair so I think my main struggle right now is to do with product build-up (hopefully the clarifying shampoo I've ordered will remedy that). It's so helpful to know it takes months for the hair to transition, for us to figure out products and techniques that work for us. I had no idea when I started this journey just how difficult it would be!

Hi Marisa! I know it's been a while but do you happen to recall how this wash day held up? I'm looking forward the most on your opinion of the loreal mousse, I have bought that mousse a while back but I stopped using since my waves literally didn't even last the diffusing process, but it also could've been the lack of knowledge on styling techniques at the time. Would you use the mousse again?

You are a gorgeous Woman, inside and out! I feel so at home when I watch your videos, like we have been best friends forever! My one question for you is: how do you get your hair frizz free? It’s is lovely, shiny and smooth. Thank you so much for all the videos! I am 68 and only 2 months into discovering my curls…..it’s magical and amazing! All my life I did everything to straighten my hair….. if only I had known! I feel robbed!

I truly relate to this video!! Although the difference is that I’m only 19 and I have all of the time in the world to grow out my hair back. I was super blonde as a child and it obviously darkened over time so it took a toll on me. I refused to see myself with any other color other than light blonde. My hair color is a very ashy light brown and I refused to have ashy hair. I thought it was dull and ugly. I finally gave it a chance and I’m never going back again!! I tried to dye it back to my natural color which was impossible because no hair dye looked as ashy and it washed out quickly but at least it looks okay-ish with my roots growing in. People have started telling me my eyes are popping, I noticed my skin is pinker and brighter! It’s crazy how much more this color fits me! I’m so excited to grow it back, especially since I also have curly hair and they are practically almost gone. They used to be soo healthy when I didn’t dye my hair

That scared me for a sec because of the lighting it looked like it bleached your hair or something😂 love your curls!❤

Dude this is more of a mission that blow drying and curling it. It takes so much more time styling my hair in its natural form. It’s kinda ridiculous

I don't know if you will see this but that's okay... I am growing out my hair dye after going absolutely crazy last year and dying it 8 times!! And I've been dying my hair since I was 14, so we are talking 12 years. I am so done with dying and want to preserve my hair's health, but OMG, the process has been so hard for me!! The faded dyed colour is a brassy weird colour, it's not blonde or ginger/coppery, it's just ugly. My natural colour is coming through as an ashy brown which seems lovely. I haven't seen my natural hair colour in 12 years, which is weird to think about. Idk, I suppose I wonder if anyone had any tips? I know it's just hair but it's taking a huge toll on my confidence. I already cut it A LOT, so it's the shortest it has ever been which is also challenging. I am 7 months dye-free. Definitely not going to dye it again, but the process has been hard.

Thank you for this. Gives me hope. Only a couple weeks in and I am so frustrated 😂 I did hair for 15 years, but rarely did my hair wavy. So I never really understood when clients were going through the transition phase, since I never had gone through it personally. Now I get it… ❤

They are racist and wish their curls were looser. That’s on them. Women like this will only be happy if you shave your whole head. 😅
