@IronBahamut Жыл бұрын
@@soundscape26 That would take a ridiculous amount of extra effort so I don't blame him for not doing these and editing them as he goes. The lack of research beforehand is usually the problem, like the WW2 ration week.
@soundscape26 Жыл бұрын
@@IronBahamut I'm saying this because the editing in his videos is quite rudimentary... he just has to stitch together 6 or 7 chunks of video. No transitions, no audio effects, no overlays, no nothing. I suspect part of his clumsiness is a bit for the camera and to create a certain character. I can't believe someone who produces week on's for almost 10 years still acts like a complete fool on so many easy cooking tasks.
@kiraworthington Жыл бұрын
as someone who does not own in your fire can one explain in depth about the liners and is it just me or is he using more than one cuz that would seem a bit silly in my opinion but really what's with the liners I don't own an air fryer and I'd like to know in case I ever buy one
@markc1793 Жыл бұрын
Mike, the liners, either paper or silicone, will only let the airfryer work properly if you put them in the drawer, then put in the metal plate, then put your food in so that the food is on the metal tray. The metal tray is removable for cleaning and can go in the dishwasher, so not a problem it gets dirty, but by having the food on the metal, which has holes in it, it will allow the air to circulate around the food and cook properly, they way you're doing it pretty much completely negates the "air" part of air frying and you're blocking the air from getting to the food from underneath, which means you'll never get things properly cooked all over and will never be as quick as it should be which takes away from the energy savings.

remember that an air fryer is just a repackaged convection oven. A convection oven uses rising hot air to envelop the food bake it more efficiently. I don't know how popular they are in the rest of the world, but they've been around in the US since at least the 1980s, and many frozen foods have convection oven directions on them. Funny enough, some convection ovens are just rebadged as having "air fryers" in them, and just add a tray that fits in a rack slot and change "convection" on the controls with "air fry."

paper flavoured eggs so good took longer than just doing it in a pan with 1000w for less time it does not take me 5 minutes to do both the eggs and bacon. for your dinner does it not take in the microwave not take 9 minutes, I would have said take the plastic off the top as more likely to melt the plastic I know we are trying to use the Airfryer but financially in time and power use some of the foods do better in the microwave or just in a pan etc cheaper and faster. for the main meal you could have mixed it all then split it in to the two sides with equal mix in each. the thinner the chicken the faster it cooks so will burn in the same way as the veg closest to the heat will burn as it is not being stirred. would still say better to just frying pan it, then it would not burn and look black.

I can see that Mike does not read the comments. Stop using liners, any kind of liners. You should have lightly spray oiled your onions etc. As for the eggs, make small foil dishes, and spray them lightly with oil before putting the eggs in, yes eggs will stick to the paper liners. Don't waste your money on liners, just to Dave time on washing up, as it costs you more electric money to cook using liner's, it prolongs the cooking time, and the air isn't being circulated for energy efficiency.
