Shop at Aldi regularly... knowing exactly how much of this tastes and still enjoying it. Idea: a week on one meal plan. Choose a days worth of meals. And buy the same meals at each major super market and compare taste vs price.

Veg can be good. After you boil, toss in a pan with hot olive oil and any of the following: garlic, herbs, ginger, chili, bit of stock, garam masala. Anything. It doesn't have to be a punishment.

No back bacon in the USA. Possibly in Canada. The brioche burger buns are great. They used to be imported from France but here in Florida they’re now usually from Canada and almost as good... In the USA it’s not SnackRite but Clancy’s. Maybe it’s the association of potatoes and the Irish? Aldi is very adaptable
