not to say that may be the cost of that little packet is not that far away from just buying a proper jar of it. It is not value at all, even at 60% off you can still buy the items and cook all the meals cheaper, so you are really worse off then you get 25% off and have to pay £12 for a meal for 2. you can go out and get a pub meal for 2 for £11.50 and not do any cooking or washing up. or even just buy a ready cooked meal.

the only item i saw that i would want to get in that size is the truffle oil because at least where i live a bottle of that is a LOT hence why ive never tried it. Vinegar really should be in the list of items to get on your own like butter and salt.

even at the full 60% off many of the meals can be made for the same or less than what you pay for this box. so you see how much money your are wasting when you only get 25% off you can easy be paying twice and some times 3 times more than just buying the food at the shop and just throwing what you do not need away.

Suggestion for future mealbox weeks like this since they're quite different from the diet challenges. If these boxes are supposed to be cheap alternatives to cooking for yourself - I'd like to see what the cost would have been if you had to get the groceries and make everything from scratch compared to what the costs are purchasing the boxes. Some of these (the gnocchi, the taco, the alfredo) feel like you got hustled cost-wise. I would think "well you got recipe cards so you can make them on your own later on" but the fact they even packaged vinegar and garlic instead of giving you measurements sorta messes that idea up

My missus cooked their Venison burger and chips and I have to say it was one of the best meals I’ve had from Gousto and one of the best burgers I’ve EVER had, it was amazing

Its not really a week on Gousto. For the simple fact you had one meal a day, and eat other items during the week. but your 2 day for £25 means you are spending on items over £12 there is NOTHING that gousto does is worth it. if you want steak its extra cost per a person. There are still other boxes. and fully cooked meal services that are cheaper than this food. The simple problem is that even the the cheapest price is still for many meals still more money than just buying the food,

No, he actually gets more views when spreading it over 7 days. I've done the math on this. Even though some people drop out part way through, overall there are a lot more views. It makes sense for him to use the 7 separate days/videos format for non-members. Since they're getting content for free. And I'm sure he stays in the algorithm longer having 7 videos versus just 1.

@@voiceofreason6686 But that changes when you think about unique viewers, the ones for the longer videos are almost all unique, while the ones for the daily videos are almost always the same, meaning he captures less interest/new viewers. I think the algorithm will always favour a single video with 50k views and more likes than a series of much less watched videos. Quality vs quantity. Also people who never heard of Mike's channel and are suggested say, a part 4 of a week on, won't click as much. His full week on exceeded 1 hour and new viewers won't bother going back and watch the whole thing.
