I work in a pizza place that's on just eat. Makes me laugh when they take forever to confirm your order because the machine in the restaurant makes the most horrific noise when a order comes through

@@CompaSystem i just looked up danish white bread. thats hilarious. its marketed as "low sugar". at 0.7grams per slice, compared to say toastie white which is 1.4g per slice.... But the toastie white is twice the weight per slice. meaning there is nothing low sugar about the danish white. its literally just half the amount of bread per slice. They make the loaf 400grams vs 800grams, make the slices smaller, advertise it as "low sugar". reminds me of the "low calorie orange juice" advert i saw when on holiday in america. it was literally orange juice mixed half and half with water and it cost the same as the brands regular orange juice.

As far as I am aware, the pizza being classified as a vegetable was during the 80's in America for the sake of school lunch requirements. Each lunch served by a school had to contain a certain amount of certain food groups at minimum for one reason or another (probably not to get in trouble, or maintain state/federal funding). It's more that it satisfied the criteria for having 1 serving of vegetables in it. It also a similar reason as to why ketchup was classified the same way.

Ketchup wasn't ever classified as a vegetable. At one point the USDA suggested they do so to deal with the issue of food waste because kids weren't eating the vegetables they were given. The idea however was never implemented but was picked up by the media regardless.

Not a bad price for an Indian takeaway especially if it fed both of you! Still no fruit or veg though - for the love of god man, eat some salad!!! The eggs - my understanding (I'm not an American so someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) is that over easy is eggs that are flipped briefly to cook the whites but leaving the yolk runny, over medium is the same but the yolks are firmer, over hard is firm yolks. Sunny side up is where the eggs are not flipped at all - not my preference as usually there is still some snotty white on top, but I'll remember the water and lid thing for future as if I flip my eggs I usually break a yolk :(

Underrated comment! Lucky if I get a takeaway once a month, at a push once every two months. And before anyone else chips in.. nice to treat yourself when you cook all the time. I’m disabled & during a flare up it’s nice to phone somewhere for an easy dinner (or two - used to be able to order plenty for two dinners !!) Legitimately wonder what it is that causes you to never be able to work out calories properly. 2 slices of really thin sliced bread is minimum 110 calories. 2 eggs is about 120 for medium eggs, 140-150 for large.
