A Weekend Apart | JEJU & UDO ISLAND Solo Travel + Alone in Seoul

It was definitely a very different type of weekend for us, as we spent it separately! Kyuho flew down to the beautiful Jeju Island and Udo Island for a fantastic filming opportunity, and since I already had commitments here in Seoul, I stayed in the city while Kyuho embarked on his solo trip. We each vlogged alone in our respective locations, which felt sooo weird, as we're so used to filming together, lol.

I find it interesting that from the start of his trip Kyuho was saying how he wished Sarah was with him. He repeated several times throughout the video that he wished she was with him to see the sights. And to be honest, I felt like she was missing From the trip too. You're a dynamic duo; a fun and loving couple. I enjoy watching your videos as much for the sightseeing as for your interactions and reactions to the things and people around you. And I also noticed that, while Sarah was doing her thing, there was always a sense throughout her videos that she was waiting for Kyuho. And I love how you were both worried about the rain around the time of Kyuho's flight. That was really sweet. Truly, as a single person, I live vicariously trough your cute adventures together and feel a bit sad when you are apart. 💕

I've been to Udo Island 3 years ago, it felt like a dreamy place. Surrounded 360 by sea, scenic peaks, lighthouses, variety of beaches with white sand, dark rock formations, sound of gentle waves, cute and charming cafes/shops. Udo is small, you can tour the entire island in about 5 hours with motor vehicle rentals. But I suggest staying over one night to see stunning sunset and sunrise. Udo is a type of island for a nice one day getaway to clear your mind and start fresh.

2 things surprised me during this video: 1. When Kyuho said "a huge fight." I was so shocked & was like "What?!" 2. My husband saw only Kyuho's clips because he was going in and out of the room. He was like, "Where is Sarah?" Lol, I didn't know that he knows because we never really watch youtube video together unless it is a documentary. Then again, I only watch 3 vloggers weekly, and one of them is you guys. Nonetheless, I was surprised that he knows your names! :)

Great video guys. Nice concept to show two separate experiences. And Kyuho, your Udo Island filming was a good mix of detail shots and wide angle shots. (For several years before I quit to become a photographer I was the photo director of a travel magazine and we always were happy when photographers would shoot both details and wide angle since they both come together to tell a story). And Sarah, looks like the ginkgo did not disappoint.
