Please don’t! There are already enough people here. More people, particularly those from large cities will be disappointed anyway because Bellingham was not laid out for millions of people and cars. What will inevitably happen is that the features everyone comments on will be ruined by too many people and cars/trucks. It will become a version of the hell hole Los Angeles became back in the fifties when so many moved from the Midwest & South in search of a “better life “. There truly is a limit to what can be handled in a small semi-rural city before it becomes untenable. Besides, in case you weren’t informed, it rains constantly from fall to early summer, so if days & days of cloud & rain sounds depressing, save yourself the pain and find a manageable small city where the sun shines most of the time.

@@lindaavinger9548 oh yeah I’m from the big city. I got a lot of cars and a couple trucks and a bunch of rescue dogs. Mainly pit bulls and and a couple of wolf hybrids so I think this small rural town would be perfect for us. We just bought a ranch in town near the diner so welcome us here. Glad I found this video! Thank you for your comment

I love Bellingham... it's over priced now but it's still wonderful. Awesome beer, great food, waterfront, super close hiking. We were up there just 3 weeks ago and stayed at the Bellwether. Fairhaven just a few blocks south is really nice as well. Grab a sandwich at Colophon Cafe, buy a book at Village Books and then beers at Structures Brewing.

If you get the opportunity, come to Whidbey Island to Deception Pass…lots of nearby parks here and in Anacortes with trails in the woods (not stroller friendly). And if you get the chance to go past Bellingham, I really recommend Semiahmoo Marina in Blaine, WA….the views of Mount Baker and Canada are spectacular and long paved walking/bike trail along the water of the marina with some a couple of historic buildings. Your baby Julian is a perfect baby…so happy, calm, and handsome. (I’m a new subscriber to your channel).

Deception Pass and Semiahmoo are some of our favorite stops up north. We've visited, but haven't vlogged those areas -- will need to do that soon!

You showed more of Whatcom country than Bellingham. People visiting don’t see the underside of Bellingham. The homeless, graffiti, high prices, poor local government and self serving people.

They promoted Seattle and Portland to the point they became the new hell holes of the West Coast! Now they're going after places like Bellingham?! Why not tell the real story from the beginning. Pipelines blowing up in the middle of the city. Fentanyl creeping in. One guy was sitting dead for 12hrs in the downtown before anyone noticed!. I could go on but you maybe get the picture?! Leave us alone!

i encourage the homeless to camp on our beautiful trails in bellingham.
