Thank you for such a lovely tour of Newcastle and hopefully you had some warm weather as I noticed your husband was in a jumper quite often. I was interested in the items in the antique shops as some of the furniture looked like items my parents or their friends had in their houses when I was young - bit tough on the ego to see familiar items from your youth being called 'vintage' !! Happy birthday and enjoy your Toblerone chocolate - guilt-free.

Not to make you feel old but anything over 20 years old is classed as vintage - so dating before 2004! All my kids are vintage - that makes me feel old 😂😂😂

Thanks for the Newcastle tour! I was there September 1989, six months pregnant, with a barely walking toddler and all kinds of my (then) husband’s family. I’m pretty sure I was frazzled and waddling 😂😂

Happy birthday! It was hubby’s 60th on Sunday so we had a busy family weekend too! I lived just outside Durham for 6 years, and although yes it’s has stunning coastline and countryside I never felt settled in the NE, C’est la vie eh?

Hi we have rented a cottage this week in the Lincolnshire wolds can you recommend any places to visit while we are here I have family in cleethorpes so will be visiting there one day glad you enjoyed your visit to Newcastle we live on the northeast coast about 45 mins from there 😃💐❤️

I can recommend Woodhall Spa... lovely out door pool. Louth is a very nice market town. Lakins butchers. Hubbards hills for a nice walk.Enjoy your stay in lovely Lincolnshire.
