A Welcome Home

At 17, Tommy Powers jumped at the chance to defend his country. He landed in Vietnam as a paratrooper. He flew dozens of search and destroy missions before coming home 2 years later.
Back on American soil, he found a country that was fractured and a Nation that had turned against him.
Through the spitting, the name calling and all of the protests Powers never really received thanks for his service.
Nearly 60 years later the Home Depot and Travis Manion foundations banded together to give Tommy Powers a proper Welcome Home.
