A whimsically delightful Lego version of the Up House. But no Kevin

Ha! It is funny because the squirrel gets dead! I love Dug. And Kevin. It's a shame this set doesn't include Kevin but I fully intend to build her in the future. And there is a squirrel for Dug to chase. This set was an absolute delight to build, filled with colour and joy and Mr Fredericksen and Russel. The balloon component isn't realistically enough, but it's enough for a model. Plus who wants to build that many balloons?

Did you know that the movie UP was based on a true story? The couple actually existed, but in real life the male died first. They lived in Seattle, and I often drive by where their house used to be. When you cross a certain bridge, you’ll see two huge buildings, but they aren’t touching… there’s a little space in between them that the UP house was in. Of course, in didn’t fly, but I don’t know whether or not a boy scout ever visited. I also don’t know if the house is still there of just the space, since the bridge you cross to see it is at a bad angle. 🏠

Looks like you might need to buy a 2nd set on order to build a proper house and include Ellie's chair, as well as Kevin the bird. 🐦 I think it's cute but could've used just a touch more. We know lego likes to minimalize but disney loves the details.... lol I guess they compromised.
