I love the Ocean Moda Mix Anna. Some of my favourite colours. I'm pleased that you made the effort and thank you for sharing some of the beautiful quilts and goodies that the suppliers had on offer. Guilty as charged when walking into a Show and shopping at the first supplier - and more than once - despite not meaning to do much shopping as "I don't need anything I'm just looking now I'm here and there's no space left in my stash/Sewing Room" !!!😂 Enjoy the Retreat.

Hi Anna, you are so right about having pre coordinated fabrics as fast food vs scrap fabric planning as gourmet! In 1993 my dad died suddenly and it took a few days to get home. I prepped signature blocks for my family to sign, for center of some blocks to make for my mom. It took a long time to decide what block pattern for sibling, spouse and their children and then pick fabrics that looked good together but different in most blocks. When I completed the quilt three moves and three new babies, my mom finally got her quilt.❤🎉

I keep telling myself DON"T buy anything as I'm saving my fun money for the PNWSS so let's see how I manage, but girl....3 days!!! I may be doomed LOL. Just adore your fabric choices for your block of the month!!! Oh, and I'm also so tempted to download that Peach, Hope & Joy pattern, but instead I added it to the wish list. Ugh. Thanks for the visit Anna. My mother had ALS and has since passed but while she was still able to write she started writing stories down. Unfortunately she was unable to finish what she wanted to write. She began with a story of when my grandmother and her sisters came to America from Italy. This journal book is filled with wonderful memories and I find myself picking it up and reading it over and over. My only regret is Mom was unable to finish all the stories she wanted to write. But "organization" itself doesn't arrive till we make a mess sorting keeps from pitches...........With regards to the quilt show.........well, Anna...........I was about to chide you about buying at the first vendor in the door and not having any connection to your resolve to not buy anything.............BUT, after viewing the whole video I have changed my mind. I have to say KUDOS to you. Because there were a LOT of great vendors at this show. You did well to come away with just a couple of things.
