Ok so I have a theory. When everyone was in Fwhip's goblin cave and talking to them about the End being open, Shelby punched the ground. She usually does that when she's sad or nervous. Maybe she secretly went to the end? Another theory: The Dragon isn't there since they killed it in the first season. The new dragon, Violet, is going to be grown up and will go to this universe with the help of Wizard!Gem. Since she can teleport to different universes. This theory isn't as accurate since nothing from s1 will appear in s2 but Jimmy said there would be multiple references.

Ik the past season isn't linked but: What if when gem left, she created a new school. As a test for their last year each witch is sent to rule over a biome like gem once did when she was younger as a test of their courage, heart, and, of course, magic.

I’d also like to imagine that witches and wizards are separated into their respected careers even though they go to the same school. Wizards specialize in magic, runes, mythology, and ancient powers from beings like dragons. While witches specialize in potions, curses, intoxication and natural powers within the earth. I also hope that we can see the difference in how Gem and Shubble use their respective magic powers.

@@Crqckedvibe I have a feeling that they will have different powers but wizards and witches when it comes down to it are relatively the same thing, magic users, so she could've gone to the academy just taken classes on a different type of magic than what gem specialized in.
