When I watched this episode, all it took was seeing her standing in the doorway to absolutely ruin me. 😭 This show is just so good at balancing comedy, action, mystery, and emotional scenes like this (and let's not forget the cliffhangers). If you haven't watched Link Click, I highly recommend it as one of my favorite series.

This show executes raw and real emotions really well unlike many animes these days. This is because the characters are very realistic. Moreover, a lot of these characters are doing their best and being responsible, and still get kicked by life in the end. Hence, it is painful especially seeing people that's doing all the right things and still end up hurt. Contrast this side character development and their romance to main characters like in Rent-a-Girlfriend or My Dress-up Darling and it's like seeing a mile of difference in writing where the latter two animes with their love is so superficial or more like "puppy love".

I swear you won't be disappointed. Season 2 has been incredible so far. Season 1 starts off kind chill then it picks up like crazy out of nowhere and it's been full throttle ever since 🔥🔥🔥

I've never watched this before, this just popped into my recommended feed. But it did give me quite the feels. Although when the dude said "Yes my Lady!" and saluted I laughed, like why the heck does he look so happy, and then he runs off?! That woman's torn apart man, I don't understand.

Based on my understanding that’s just his way of promising her that he will return everything he owes her in his next life. As he runs away, it symbolises that he’s leaving for his next life, leaving the present life behind with his wife. Unfortunately, the dead can not stay and have to pass on which is why I think that this scene was the perfect representation of it in my opinion. Hope this helps

@@lisawu633 Thank you, it does help. But man that poor woman, while he leaves for the next life, she's still going to be in this one, and for a very long time. Who knows how long it'll take her to recover, if she ever does. Gonna have to deal with it for a lifetime before getting to see him again.

Also, in the previous ep, the husband ended a call he made to her before he died by saying the same thing. So basically 'my lady' is his 'darling'.
