Quick fun fact: Nolan Gould (kid who plays Luke) was a member of MENSA. He’s wicked smart! Which makes him playing a character like Luke even more impressive. Also, the scene where Cam and Mitch lock Lily in the car and freak out was all improvised! The script said that they realized Lily was locked inside and got scared. But they took it and ran with it, and that’s what makes this show so golden.

The unsaid joke you missed at the baby place was, would have been somthing like "Bubbles sounds like a lucky guy" because she said they where blowing bubbles. It's a reference to a very very old joke. You ask your friend if they used to blow bubbles when they where a kid. Basically everyone will says yes. Then you say Well he back in town and is looking for you. 😋😜😝😂

Hi Nick Omg! I think I feel like Phil after he got hit by the plane. My sides and cheeks are sore from laughing... I forgot about so many of the earlier scenes . The baby with the play group.... her Dad's kill me with the competitiveness , "locking" baby in the car , and the visit to Costco. I lost it and your reactions and comments got me in tears . It is hard to type and cry at the same time . The baby's head Bump and Phil's plane crash.... I had to take a couple of minutes to breathe . By the time I was born I was the fifth child so my siblings had the parents broken in good for me to not get into much trouble . When it came to keeping track of personal possessions none of us ever misplaced or forgot where we parked our bikes . I mean we messed up in other ways but bikes as kids were our sense of freedom and as a kid .....that is from our perspective as vital as an arm.... not something to lose . Although I do remember in one year ( being a latchkey kid ) I did lose 12 house keys in one year . I did have to tell my parents for them to have new keys made for me but I did not get in trouble for that. We all had our chores around the house and responsibilities that were expected and 99.9% as kids we did ok with our rules . There is just so much to enjoy and with your reactions I am enjoying every bloody ( pun intended ....from Phil's face ) minute . I am so glad that you are going full in with Modern Family and getting invested with the many odd characters . Thank you so much for your channel.

Actually as the show goes you will understand why claire didnt make a huge mess in that bicycle episode 😂😂 Because Phil almost everytime do some stupid stuffs say some stupid things as well but Claire knows that he will never cheat or hurt her or the babies because he is just obsessed with them and his whole world just revolves around them ❤

It's crazy to think that all the kids will grow up on this show. I'm not sure how to describe it, but Modern Family is one of those sitcoms where you almost forget about the sitcom aspect once the storylines get more advanced and the series finds its footing. Around season 3, I sort of forget it's a tv show and just think it's some sort of extension of my family haha. I also understand where you come from with Phil and Claire's eldest daughter. (Her name is Haley btw). The first few seasons she's not the most pleasant character due to being a moody teenager but she does eventually become more likable as she gets older. (In my opinion, I started to see the change around season 4 when she is getting ready for college). As you continue on, you'll notice a lot of tension between her and Claire because Claire was a lot like Haley when she was a teenager. The middle child is Alex and Luke is their youngest son. Anyway, I'm loving the Modern Family reactions! Most reactors stop reacting to the series after the first few seasons but I hope you continue on!

I like that Modern Family doesn't have a laugh track. The humor feels more sharp. You laughed a whole lot harder than the other sitcoms you watched. One thing about Mitchell is that it shows how well the characters are written in that it shows the impact of being raised by Jay weighs on Mitchell. How Jay feels like he can do better and wants to shield Manny from the embarrassments and hurt that Mitchell experienced growing up in school. But also the world is different than when Mitchell grew up in, so Manny can be more himself without, as much, judgement... Within reason. But Manny is comfortable with himself, something Mitchell still needs to come to grips with, and Cam is a great foil and conduit for that self expression.

I haven't watched Casablanca, but I think the most iconic scene is the final scene where one character (a guy) is playing the piano, and another (guy) tells him "play it Sam" (or something like that), and it's implied that they're gay (the first "openly" gay characters on any major movie perhaps). So... if you're playing charades and you're gay, and you say "it's a movie" and make the piano gesture... it's either that or the Pianist lol

I don't think any of the sub groups of families are funnier than the other, but it's about the way each interacts with the others. Very much like FRIENDS in that sense, that they each have their own individual funny personalities, but there's also how each character interaction with another character is different than with a different one.

I get trying to teach your kid a lesson. But the bicycle thing would never have happened. Then again I was riding a bicycle during the 80s and early 90s 🤷‍♀️ leaving a bicycle outside of a friend's house with a calling card to let everyone know who was where. And our parents were not really looking for us or our bikes back then 🤷‍♀️ as long as we were back home by the time the street lamps came on, or had previously stated we were staying at a friend's house overnight But that isn't the modern family. That's the old school family 😉

i'm really glad you chose to do modern family, I personally think is good to have some diferent dinamics on the content you react to as for me HIMYM is really similar to friends and TBBT when you see it in a big scope. all of those are friend groups from a similar age, so its a friend envouirement, while modern family goes in as this multi generation family so its a new dinamic system.
