Great job in creating a Work Standard and training every employee on the current best way to perform the job. All businesses should do this. Work standards are how high performance is achieved while reducing employee burden, minimizing mistakes, and improving customer satisfaction. Work standards should be changed as new best ways are discovered and everyone retrained on them. Keep up the good work.

I like your videos man. I have been in the business for 15 years, I guess I'm different I just use a homer 5 gallon bucket for all my stuff. A 6 inch, a 12 inch, and a 20 inch is about all you need. "good window cleaners dont detail?"-- I suppose none of you have been living down south where it is 90-98 percent humidity-- I don't care who you are, you are getting runs due to the condensation when it is 92-110 degrees (heat index, what it actually feels like) outside and its 70 inside. All that on my waist would hurt my back, and keep my movement limited. Maybe a bull ring on a belt, that's it. I fly, I don't know...lol. Cheers man, this is a brotherhood and we are the saviors of glass! There is no wrong or right way to have your own business. So many people think "YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG", I don't listen to these people......some are only in the business for 2 minutes and I've been in it for 15 years LOL.

I went to Home Depot to find the belt pouch you used, all I found was the Husky brand pouches but I didn't see a pouch that looked like the one you use. I ordered the Unger ErgoTech pouch but it just seems to be to big. Just wondering what brand and model you recommend. Thanks for putting this video out, I am starting my window cleaning business now! Chris
@ccwindowcleaningllc.47065 жыл бұрын
The pouch I used in this video was $20 at Home Depot it's the Husky brand it has three Pockets two large one small, when I hired 12 high schoolers over the summer I had to keep it cheap, for $24 you can go to Harbor Freight and get a much nicer tool bag I found out because it has some metal rings as well, so I would either go to Home Depot or Harbor Freight, yeah the window cleaning bags online are way too big and expensive
@hayesvidspics59825 жыл бұрын
I just got home from going to Home Depot and Harbor Freight and seen you had just responded to me, what timing, LOL I did find the Home Depot belt with pouches (Husky Handyman Apron SKU 793-857) I didn't realize it was a complete belt, I had been looking for separate pouches so that's why I had a hard time finding what your video showed. I bought the Voyager Magnetic Wrist Band for razor blades at Harbor Freight but I will check out their tool belts next time I go. Thanks for all the info, time and effort you put into your videos for all of us newbies. My new business is Clean Glass out of Canby Oregon.@@ccwindowcleaningllc.4706

C & C Window Cleaning LLC. I get it. We just hired a guy and I showed him how to put his belt on in less then 2 min. Storage less than 1. Not saying my way is better but a 20 min video on this may run some folks off imo. I try my very best to keep things simple. Simple systems are easy to follow. I don't have 10 employees, but before this I was a gm/dm over 80 employees. I always found the more complex the system the more likely they are to try and either simplify it themselves or just not follow it. But what do I know ...
