How do we transition from knowledge to action. Understanding something is one thing, implementation is another. And what are the Effects of others on somebody’s high aspirations “Others” being family, friends etc.

Can you address also fears in general and fear of Riyah. And how to go beyond those fears. What they say in non muslims society is all about our subconscious programming. Can you give us clarity on that. barakAllahufik for the very insightful series. I'm learning a lot on myself. We are never a finished product our knowledge goes from birth to our grave

Jazzakallahum kyran my brother, for this wonderful series. They are interesting, engaging, inspiring, motiving and empowering ma shaa Allah. Thank you for the beautiful explanation of the definition of the words because better understanding will stire our hearts, minds and souls. Alhamdulillah thanks to Allah who answered my dua and made me to turn my life around and helped me make some meaningful positive changes in recent years, after falling with the wrong crowd of friends who I now realise we all unfortunately had low aspirations. And been from Somali community- unfortunately I think it's fair to say we don't exactly have lofty ambitions as a community. But despite my good intention and desire to change my ways and behaviour for the better, I struggled and then one sincere prayer and dua and my situation has changed for the better- Alhamdulillah. And interestingly because of my struggle I'v developed a great interest in human nature and human behaviour and particularly human psychology and especially human habits. So sometimes your darkest period or episode in life can bring you newly discovered understanding or insights about the nature of life and into about our own personality and character - the good, the bad , the ugly and the beauty aspects of ourselves. So as a newly keen student of human nature someone who is deeply interested in the emotional side of the human experience and who is fascinated by the psychology of personal change and self transformation. I now know we are all stronger then our fears and greater then our weaknesses, when we put our trust in Allah and we make the great decisions to kick start the process or the changes we desire. So once again thanks sheilk Abdirahman and I encourage myself and the rest of my brothers and sisters to embrace the beautiful struggle to personal inner transformation. So sometimes

Salaam Sheikh. I didn't get the last one. He/She is not capable of achieving big and they know it, but they boast as if they could. Does this apply to politicians? You didn't translate the Arabic. He is "Fahoor"?? What does that mean? I am not a native Arabic speaker so I have hard time understanding the 4th one.
@ImansHomeschool4 жыл бұрын
Asalaamu alaykum Sister Regarding the 4th type: 'Fakhoor' فخور meaning: Haughty, Prideful, Boastful From تَكَبَّرَ 'takabbara' to become proud, boastful, arrogant Allaah تعالى said: وَلَا تَمْشِ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا (Qur'aan 17:37) And walk not on the earth with conceit and arrogance. The word مَرَحًا 'marahan' encompasses the afore mentioned meanings.

take notes, it really helps to understand what ustadh is saying
@evilhunter85424 жыл бұрын
A simple suggestion : I think Ustadh shouldn't spend much time in explaining the word meaning and it's usages in details like he does whilst teaching a book. These topics are highly important for muslims. If these Series are made keeping common masses in mind, Ustadh should keep it simple and straight. So when teaching general topics intended for general masses, Ustadh shouldn't quote the arabic matoon rather should explain it in English. Make different teaching strategy for students and general masses.
@saimaesmail58014 жыл бұрын
I believe its important he explains ..when students take notes and often do this and read and recapping ... it will make a student more firm in understanding. Allah is one who grants tawfeeq. Allah knows best.
@Bazwjd4 жыл бұрын
It’s important because when we learn like this we are able to teach others, what is “general masses”. I get your point, but we have to get back to learning the classical way by writing down and taking notes. That’s how we will be able to change what’s within us and give dawah. Merely listening and going on will be like just another mainstream Islamic Dawah lecture. Where the masses generally listen and do no implementation- because the writing is missing the memorisation is missing.

This kind of dars is not for everyone who is not serious with deen, but to be fair pple who want to change will go back to the video as much as it would take for them to get it in sha Allah.

I understand that for some it might seem confusing at first because of the many arabic terms that are being used but inshaAllah just take your time while taking notes and it should be fine.
