Not a fan of his person, but, there's no denying that he has been the most skilled, consistent and professional player. I don't see anyone right now being able to match what he did. There are a lot of good players, but, he was the crème de la crème. Crazy good. And, a very good attitude for this game as well.

Van gerwen a few years after had a spell that saw him dominate just like taylor did in his prime. Yet, as fun as it can be to watch high level darts like that, I'd still prefer not knowing there's a 90% chance of 1 specific guy winning

Peter Wright has the smoothest throw out of the lot of them. He may end top 2 of all time. Don't think we'll ever see someone dominate the way Taylor did for 20 years, as the darts quality has improved that much.
