So sorry to hear about Roy, my condolences. I wanted to share that the coriander thing is actual science: “Most people perceive the taste of coriander leaves as a tart, lemon/lime taste, but to nearly a quarter of those surveyed, the leaves taste like dish soap, linked to a gene which detects some specific aldehydes that are also used as odorant substances in many soaps and detergents.”

Condolences to you both on the loss of your friend. Life is so precious and every moment should be lived to the full. My husband passed away suddenly, he was 60 and I was 49, we had so many plans.... I now realise that you must grab opportunities when they come and enjoy life. On a lighter note the scenery on your walk was incredible... beautiful filming and photography. Best wishes to you both x

Sorry to hear about your friend. You and his family and other friends have my sympathy The deer farm is not surprisingly on Deer Hill. My Swedish friend's little boy stood where you were saying Bambi, Bambi, Bambi as he pointed to each deer (ring a bell?) then asked if we were really going to drink ALL that water. They don't have them in Sweden.

Sorry to hear about the sad Loss. My wife and her family recently had a loss in the family too 2 weeks ago. The relative also passed away in his sleep. I only got to meet him in 2019 but I’m glad I did. He didn’t die of COVID which is a good thing.

I am sorry to hear about your friend Roy’s passing. The fact that everyone is so sequestered from everyone else makes a loss like that more difficult. I will say that the snow looks pretty in the videos. We finally got frozen precipitation here, but unfortunately the 1st inch and a half of it is ice, with snow on top of that. Walking is sort of treacherous outside, so I’m staying warm indoors for the duration.

So sad to hear about Roy. As you said it’s a shame that is has happened during these uncertain times and you haven’t been able to spend any time with him. At least he passed away peacefully in his sleep. Makes you stop and think that you need to live for today cause you just never know when your times up. Take care guys. Loved designated survivor but it’s something you have to watch without interruptions otherwise you loose where you are, so many twists and turns.

Thank you guys for putting in the effort to make your daily vlogs, it's such a welcome distraction for myself and hubby. I can fully understand your feelings of Groundhog Day it must be hard summing up the enthusiasm to fill your day. We are the other end of the spectrum I'm an ICU nurse and have seen the devastation this pandemic has caused , and my husband a specialist paramedic.
