In Larks Dream... I'd like to say that at 3:01 that one wolf puppy is Soot, and the ancestors of the Moon pack, and Dawn Moon in particular like Demeter, Achilles, and Meadow and showing Lark that they will take good care of his pup up in the stars.

I like the secondary lifequest ideas. I really like the idea of her always wanting affinity to stay above a certain percent (shown in pack stats top right) and also, I think it would be really interesting if maybe after losing so much she would be so grief-stricken that she would not want to leave the pups alone ever to always make sure they are safe. So maybe each day when you roll for Lark you could roll for Cinder as well to see if she is willing to leave the den with Lark or if she will stay behind with the pups for the day. I think that could be really interesting for her!

I just love how vocal the pups are! I think Raven and Dove like to howl so much, which means they're very social. And poor Cinder; I can't imagine what she's going through right now... hopefully Lark can make up for their loss and lift up her spirits.

I really think Cinder should take the path of healing. She has lost so much. Her mate, her old litter, and now Soot. She has been through so much pain that she just needs to reflect for a while. She reminds me of myself. I lost so much and started distancing myself from my friends and family. That soon progressed into anxiety, and I formed astraphobia. (fear of storms) I won't go to much into it because it's pretty rough and sad, but I really like Cinder. And I think maybe one of the pups, like Dove, or Raven's lofe quest could be to kill any coyotes on sight. Or, any time they attack. I did this with my generation one and two. My 2nd boy, Trout, died when I was traveling to a very close den. I had just lost half of my pups and had to go find them, but the coyotes just ran up and brutally killed him. I played as his sister and brother, Pounce and Hover, and They were both very agressive towards coyotes and Cougars.

I think that lark underestimated the responsibility of being a dad. Also, whoever is the heir to the dawn moon, they should be afraid of coyotes. Since soot died to one of them. Poor soot. Rest In Peace. Also, I think that swallow thinks that she is like a big strong grownup wolf! I love swallow.

Perhaps the siblings that a pup plays with the most can in the future affect who they will pick as a mate? For example, if a wolf pup plays with the serious/earnest sibling then their mate may end up being serious themself. It's an idea I came up with while reading a book earlier today :)

here's a fun story: in my first generation of wolves i had coyotes constantly come at my pups, and my only female refused to stay in the den or in the grass and every time i growled at the coyotes to get them away, apparently that scared her and she would run off because she thought i hated her and i was always running after her directly after an attack

Poor Cinder💔 I think she wants to seek revenge and take the path of infamy, but the next night Lark dreams and Moondancer visits him and tells him that he should tell Cinder to stay close to her pups instead, and not make the mistake of losing the bond, like Moondancer herself did and regrets. She tells him that love always win over hate and grief. Lark tells Cinder what Moondancer told him to tell her, and she looks at her playful pups with tears in her eyes, and instead of revenge she choose to stay close to their pups instead and let her heart heal. Lark comforts her and look at the pups, and for a second he sees the little Soot and Moondancer’s spirits beside the pups.

I think Cinder should have both life quests. One of them would be what Lark wants for her (spending time with the pups). The other would be Cinder's vengeance. So basically, the coyote quest won't count as anything, but whenever Cinder is around you they always kill the coyotes. The other one would be Cinder's actual life quest, the one where she's trying to re-bond with her pups. I thought this was a good idea, but its just a suggestion! Love your videos Seri!! 😁❤🐺

I think Cinder seems to be a more gentle wolf and would probably be working more on keeping up her affinity with the pups! Although I think if she sees a coyote near the pups again she wouldn’t like it much and they might want to move dens.

I just have to say, when the stranger wolves started chasing Cinder, it was cool how Lark reacted. His mind was thinking of guarding the den, but when he saw Cinder getting chased he ran into battle so confidently, grabbing the closest wolves scruff just to protect Cinder. For the 2 paths for Cinder, I think we should do the healing one first, like to say she still has hope, to say she doesn't want to be unstable. But if another pup falls...then she would go down the infamy path, to say she no longer has any hope. She might get more of an angry personality, snapping and growling at everything and everyone, including Lark, making him question if being her mate was a good idea, or if his past self was too naive to choose her.

Kk, ik it's late. But I got an idea why the aphla came. The junction butte pack could be struggling in food, so the aphls female went over to find prey and noticed there's a dead bison scent. Then the female decided it would be good to fight for this place because she thought it would be better than where her pups currently living

What happened when the stranger wolves came: Cinder: Wake up! Wake up! Cinder barked as a flash of strong stranger wolf scents raced past her. What is it? Lark sleepily barked when he was outside. Just get over here and see! Cinder barked back. Lark lazily yawned, barked the pups in and ran over to see what was going on. When Lark got to where Cinder was he was suddenly alert and a flash of anger raced through him. He had discovered the stranger wolves. He raced to one of them not really thinking and just simply bit the wolf till his teeth hurt. Then he had a quick rest and raced to the other stranger wolf and did exactly what he had just done with the first wolf. When the fight was over he talked a little to Cinder. You should have trusted me Cinder barked to Lark. You might at the very least have told me there were stranger wolves at the den! Lark argued back. Cinder turned round had one look at the pups and sat down her back on Lark.

Seri, I think it might be a little out of character for lark to kill and attack any wolf pack because lark's personality is very understanding and you said that lark would understand why a wolf would chase him off their territory and would just be petty just to attack a wolf for petty things.

Am going to do a little role play as cinder so enjoy! *Cinder saw the coyote coming she tried to say something but she was to late soot fell and he was dead shocked she chased the coyote away but she stayed at the den when lark chased after the coyote her eyes watered as her memory’s of her past litter replayed in her head She had hope that this time her litter of wolf pups would all make it but now her dream was shattered but no matter what she thought about how maybe if she didn’t get close to her pups then they may not die and it will not hurt as much of another one died she still had to stay strong for lark and her remaining pups…*

Wolves don't really "mourn" the loss of their pups. When Doug Smith, a very well known and trusted Yellowstone Wolf Biologist, was asked this question due to the loss of 42M, he said, "I can't that say wolves mourn. I'm a scientist and that isn't a scientific thing to say. But I do know that he acted differently than he ever did before. You can draw your own conclusions" Considering that wolves don't have a large well developed prefrontal cortex and occasionally kill pups, I am not too sure that it would be realistic for Cinder and Lark to be too upset. And Basil would have definitely not changed so dramatically realisticly. That being said they do have a fairly large temporal lobe and limbic system and they play a major role in emotional responses. So maybe they do experience some "sadness" but it isn't quite the same thing that humans experience, nor is it so dramatic. But in any case this is role play, so being anthropomorphic is just a given. Plus it can be very entertaining. 😂 I am not a Biologist, Zoologist, nor Neuro Scientist. So take what I said with a grain of salt. But I do find this interesting.
