A Working drummer live show - Jim Huwe

I was Unable to record a new drum cover this week with so much going on. I decided to do a short, live drum cam video from the pit of a WWII USO show I did yesterday at a local High School. It's a day in the life of a working drummer. Believe me, this is totally the OPPOSITE of what is coming on a few upcoming drum cover videos. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for that!

Now, Mr.flys2, this is certainly a change of pace to hear the raw sound of unproduced drums. It is always a let-down for me when I go downstairs to play my drums after watching drum covers on KZbin where the drums sound so wonderfully full because of production help. I love that old swing music from the 40’s and early 50’s, and I thank you for sharing your music with us.❤️🙏👏❤️🙏👏❤️

Yes, I had this yesterday, 2 studio session this week, one jazz fest and a gig all coming up. Crazy week. Similar leading up to this past weekend. I have some fun stuff I am working on though. Stay tuned, brother!

Thanks Kelly. I had to play super light and polite. A gymnasium and kids that tend to not sing as hard as they potentially could, is the reason to keep in pretty light. The book was an easy read with decent charts. No huge surprises or odd ball cuts and such.

Thank you, Bob. I do appreciate that so much. Gretsch Catalina Club. I was so crunched for time I just had to do something quick. Might have to do that this week as well, with 4 gigs happening. When it rains, it pours, brother!
