Pixelated you should try and fire and advance and try to close the distance. The closer you are the more of a chance your volley will hit. So, have your men form in a two man row the first rank fire, while they reload have the second row run forward ten paces and fire then the first row will pass them closing the distance with the enemy. Then you can bayonet charge, try running in a two-man column rather than a straight line. Try and have the first rank kneel and fire. While they reload have the standing line fire so that you have a constant fire going on. The alternating fire will keep the enemy under pressure. Wait until your first rank is reloaded before having the alternating group fire.

The other regiment on your team, the 87th Royal Irish Fusiliers is their full regiment name. They have been around sense the early mount and musket days. I recognized some of the names.

Ahh the 77th, That whale regs that take up half the events server cap (forcing out players from smaller regs), and cant really hit crap even with a ton of guns and just act as a huge target and a melee swarm... love being able to take my minnow reg of 4-5 men and end up killing roughly twice or more of our numbers of 77th. And who uses Spyglasses?.. red pixel/s, brit, not red pixel/s French... just have a mental image of the battlefield, see enemies, track em mentally, see friendlies track em mentally update that mental image when info changes. And those 5 guys on the desert map going to the ruins are smart, the french can reach the ruins before the Brits if they move immediately, and they got their arses in gear before your mega reg did to secure good ground... so you get that spot ASAP if the french are behind and havent rushed the ruins... 87th are also doing something their fighting, you could have easily had groups of 3-4 firing in mini lines from out of cover... instead of just sitting there doing nothing crouched behind a wall. You then yell 'nice' when you have THAT many guns, from that range and you only get 1 kill in that single volley... 1... with THAT many guns, at that range... all those bullet impact smoke puffs poping up way off target down in the dip speak volumes. Also, love your attitude towards small regs, keep it classy /s

I've never played this game before, but I've played strategy games a lot and I noticed some things I would have done differently. There was one part where you retreated behind a hill when there was a nice little ridge you could have told your men to form up behind. There were in fact lots of opportunities to use the terrain as cover while firing. And then when you were fighting in the desert near the ruins you had a big line which was getting hits on them and you moved just because you were getting flanked. I don't know if getting flanked matters necessarily. So long as your line has good targets to shoot at and you're killing more of them than they are of you, it does not matter what the orientation of the lines are.

To give some advice, when you form a line, don't form on top of a hill, makes you an easy target, form a few paces back so the top slope will provide some cover. The enemy was doing this pretty often, putting you at a disadvantage.

You guys should try to use a "Wheel" (or rotate) command. Basically if the enemy starts to move out of cone of fire, your lineman at the either end rotate face and then the line adjusts itself till they're all shoulder with one another.

I think at least one mandatory training for melee and trigger discipline before be able to fight is required. This was quite a mess lol. Or at least one training for a decent sized group so the majority of participants aren't going crazy TKing and stuff.

It depends on the regiments facing colour(cuffs). The regiment in game has blue facings. That would indicate that its a guard regiment or Kings German Legion. Now why is the drummer not blue then you might ask? well i don't know. If it is a guard regiment the drummer wouldn't have a different colour on his uniform. It would be red with blue facings like the rest of them.

Diplex's regiment was tactically vastly superior. You had a very big regiment but you lacked flexibillity, you should've split your regiment. You were constantly being flanked and there was almost no communication with the 87th.

Narwhalian Persona as a NCO for the 77th I am far more disappointed than you are. I wasn't able to come to this event but watching this video made me uneasy. Their aim was poor, they didn't listen a lot of times, and they were disrespectful and were speaking when they weren't suppose too. Not to mention breaking formation when marching is a big no no. Sadly I am a new NCO for this regiment but I know who I will be talking too soon.

The main problem wasn't our men. It was the fact that our allied regmeint had so few men that they could take on the enemy 1v1. That meant we where ofen forced to face a crossfire from the enemy. But at the same time the teamkills didn't help xD.

Guys I think you need to modernize your strategies, such as firing while in an organized charge. Also I would recommend using hills and other natural barriers too your advantage. Was still a nice vid though pixy :)
