Reagan Tax Cuts played no part in lowering inflation, all it did was create HUGE Wealth Gap and Income Inequality! It was Paul Volker raising interest rates that cured the Republican Inflation of the ‘70s and Paul Volker’s interest rate hikes which started under Carter, peaked in the summer of 1981, BEFORE Reagan’s Tax Cuts for the wealthy. Ronald Reagan inherited Carter’s Cure, then Reagan replaced Volker with Alan Greenspan who proceeded once again in the destruction of the US dollar. It took a Democrat like Paul Volker to get control over Republican's inflation of the '70's that had been triggered when Richard Nixon removed US dollar the from the Gold Standard. Praise Jimmy Carter for his bold move in appointing Paul Volker to cure the inflation he inherited from Republicans.

Thank you for watching and for your insights. I have said on numerous occasions that in my opinion the appointment of Chairman Volker by President Carter was the greatest act of his presidency and demonstrated true statesmanship. Also I believe that he must have known that the medicine for getting inflation under control could very well cost him a second term. And it did. For the act of ending secular inflation I believe his presidency was an overall success and the criticism he receives is largely unfair.

Oh what a great start to 2022. I was just thinking maybe I will try to backtest the P&F count on the 10year yield - 2 year yield chart to see if P&F can point to the causes that will go below zero...yikes...a little project for 2022. Just can't wait for all the scanning material you guys have in stock for us and the special with Martin Pring. Thank you sooo much and here I thought Xmas was over but the gifts keep coming.
