For every boy who built a “fort” in the woods, you went and did the grown up version without compromising on what it could be. Visually, symmetrical, without being exact. Lots of irregular triangles and whimsically placed geometry, without worrying at all how it will tie in to the finished piece. It almost has a medieval look to it, like a witch’s cottage. For one guy, this is an incredible undertaking. Bold, ambitious, clever, yet practical, unimposing and sufficient. Your artistic vision & craftsman’s touch are commendable. Thank you for not losing that spark we all once had.

Not sure what else you have planned, but maybe a fire pit with a lounge chair or maybe a sauna? Or maybe a good strong sturdy bridge for that creek? I would like to see you make some cool furniture out of the lumber you've milled. I'm a carpenter by trade, so watching videos of what other people are making with wood is fun for me.
