I was told to be ruthless when I was decluttering in preparation for my move. Was I was ruthless. . . No, and I have way more stuff than I have space for my much smaller house. My depression was a lot worse in the last year, and I have not done much at all! I’m hoping that seeing a psychiatrist and a therapist and starting a new round of PT, I’ll start feeling better both mentally and physically and get my house in order, once and for all! Thank you for being an inspiration for this old lady! (I’m 75!) I agree 100% about not saving for the sometimes me! I moved a lot of that kind of clutter and am getting rid of it now!

I struggle with severe anxiety as well. Some people don't understand why our homes get cluttered so fast. It's easy when you don't have the energy to do it all. Thank you Lynn! You're my motivation for trying when days get hard! Love you ❤️

Bless you. I’m so sorry you suffer from anxiety. I’ve suffered from anxiety, depression for 30 years. I have ocd and chronic fatigue aswell. It’s so debilitating. I struggle to keep my home tidy. I don’t think people understand. Wishing you a happy healthy 2025 🥳🎉🎊🎆🎇

Love your video! Your commentary and music choices are great “company” to have when also cleaning. Thank you for including your precious child in the video too- loved watching her just interact with you! Reminded me of my two twenty-something kids when they were little. Both don’t want kids, so love seeing such pure cuteness in other people’s lives! Btw-re: pet messes-clean up what can first, then pour pure vinegar on urine spots to neutralize smells. If on installed carpets, pour same amount on site that you suspect animal peed there and let sit so it can soak into padding AND porous concrete! Then can use carpet cleaner to wash carpet site after area was treated.with vinegar.

I’ve pulled off my sofa and chair cushions covers and throw them in the washer alone and hang to dry while I but the naked insides out on my patio table to air out in the sun and spray some fabreeze or Lysol. It hasn’t damaged them in years I’ve been doing it. Vacuum the rest of the chair and then clean it with the carpet cleaner.

Lynn do you really like the shark carpet cleaner. I got the most recent model i found i used way to much of the cleaner fluid than needed because it automatically used it when you go forward. I would rather a trigger to control the amout of fluid

I use the nature’s miracle line to shampoo carpets due to pets. I get the urine treater, pre treat and carpet shampoo solution and hands down the best I’ve found for pets. I buy it at pet smart. Hope this helps

My Pet Peed, it is spendy but they all are. You spray it well and forget it. Once it drys stain and odor are gone.

I’m so glad that it worked for you; it didn’t work for me when my new puppy stood on the pee pad and peed on the carpet! I’m thinking that the previous owners may have had dogs that also peed on the carpet and there was just too much to get out! I ended up replacing the carpet in order for the house to sell.

By taking things out of one room and leaving them there for 24 hours then see what you might want to put back it's double handling so as you are cleaning each room and you see something you believe must go then grab a tote and place it in there for taking to the the thrift shop

When I hired an organizer to help me, we had two boxes and a trash bag in each room - trash bag for trash, one box for donations, and one box for things for things that belong elsewhere in the house. Ideally, I would have put everything away that was in the elsewhere boxes, but they are still waiting for me!
