I enjoyed this very much. I can't believe how much snow you get there. I found it interesting that you have to remove it from the roof. It looks like an incredibly beautiful place to live!

Hello and it’s always nice to hear from you. Yes there is a lot of snow here for sure. Removing it from the roof is a huge job. Takes a few days to complete. There are times when 3-4 feet of snow will fall with one storm. We grew up in the UP of Michigan and moved to the Keweenaw, which is part of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, over 20 years ago. We love it here. Where we grew up there is less snow and much more cold. Temperatures as cold or colder than -30 below zero with no windchill and way less snow. Here we have warmer temperatures with much more snow. ❄️ 💙

This is sooooooo beautiful!!! I've read two different weather sites...one says another mild winter, the other says it's gonna start to snow in November through January before a day off! Each season has it's own smell too....And you can sure smell Mother Superior!!! Beautifully done!~

Hey there my friend! Always good to hear from you LadyYoop. Glad you enjoyed our video. I’ve heard these two different scenarios as well. I really missed the snow last year. The smell of the seasons is so true and the wonderfully fresh smell that comes off Lake Superior. I hang clothes in that fresh air. I love hanging laundry on the line. In the next video I am going to mention the autumn smell, Lake Superior smell and the fresh winter smell. I love sleeping with the window cracked in the colder weather because of the fresh scent. I hope to upload Part 2 by next Sunday. I hope I can come through with it. ♥️🤗

@@Woodsyintroverts There is no question....you rock at this stuff! i loved Randy checking out that rock heading to the lighthouse at McClains. lol...ATTABOY!

@@LadyYoop Awwww we appreciate that so much. Those rocks headed to the lighthouse are much bigger than I thought they would be. That first jump from the cement to the rocks got me. I was afraid to take the little jump. That walk is a lot longer than it looks too. It would have taken a while to walk all the way there and back. Not an easy walk either. More like having to climb all the way out there. 🤣🙌🏻

@@LadyYoop oh my that would not work very well. I’m very sure I’ll never walk out there. Hey we went to McLain’s last week for the northern lights. The beach was full with probably over a hundred people but there was enough room for everyone. We all had our own places on the beach and break-wall. It was fairly warm and not windy. The college kids on the other side of the canal were having a huge party and bonfire. It was an amazing night. I will share some of the footage in the upcoming video. 🙌🏻♥️
