Just your standard game dev stuff! For syrup I use meshes that I toggle on and off! For Oreo the skunk I use a double bone system to get the toony eyes! Thank you for the compliment! I really wanna express my gratitude for it

@@kurenai_chi I mean you can create a toggle with object data but also like you can do material toggles where you have an alpha texture atlas and you animate the UVs Or you can make a shape key toggle! You can optimize it, but I haven't really had an issue! Vseeface could handle it! But warudo can definetly use it!

Hey, so I just discovered you and I really enjoy your work! I'm a 3D modeler myself. Recently dropped my old job to fulltime this, buuuuut been having trouble really getting many commissions ^^; got any tips or advice for that? I mainly do VRChat models or models for renders and, potentially, animation. I want to try animation again, but idk if I'm that interested/insane enough to do that, especially on a laptop only ^^;

Howdy! Congrats on trying to do this more. My advice is probably dated, I started doin VRChat modelling when there was barely any competition, but a lot of my work comes from friends of friends. I'll make one model, then their friend sees it and also wants a model! The other advice, turnarounds are good for like appeasing the algorithm with constant posts, but the age of doing turnarounds and getting work from it is like over. So you have to be creative with how you advertise. Treat it like something fun, instead of something you have to do. Because unfortunately you do HAVE to. Promotion isn't advertising and I find usually does the opposite effect then whats desired.

for my actual sona, i prefer using the hyenid since its kinda the closes i can get to an actual serval that is somewhere between masc and fem but the avi that i use the most in vrc is a luxray model that uses the deria base( cant remember the creator of that luxray) with the tail, ears, and hair of the salem by bratbun with some extra stuff i added on from a previous custom salem i had and new stuff i got.

Hmmm. If you want to 3D model I think you should start with an small approachable project. Like these characters are a culmination of like a decade of experience. There's so many styles of 3D modelling what do you wanna do?
