I haven't watched the film but read the novel. It is a full-on incest family story. Dad had a relationship with his daughter and mother same as here claimed that the daughter didn't want to kill her father but wanted to kill her to get rid of her. Harley did have a relationship with Amber who killed the married woman. The only difference I think is that the the bloody sweater was found after Amber killed that woman and not when Misty killed the father. Also, Misty taught the youngest child that incest was totally normal. Harley was released from prison and Amber was arrested but because of how twisted they were Harley was locked in a mental health facility.

From what I’m gathering (from watching just the recap- I haven’t seen the movie nor have I looked anything up about it), it seems like the oldest sister, Amber, killed the married woman, Callie. I believe the recap said she did it because Harley finally ended their incestuous romance together, and Amber was distraught about losing someone close to her because of another woman. This is explained as we see the scene of Amber holding the gun and crying. Then, immediately after, the recap explains that Harley admitted to the crime to try to protect Amber, as well as the younger two sisters.
