We have the same steamer Steve and no more remembering to put the next tray on the stackable ones. I thought you were going to try them raw.......😂. 🍂❄️🍁Happy gardening, Terry King.

I’ve never really thought about if they taste different as I just steam mine 😂. But I also love them with cranberries and feta cheese too. Have a super week Steve and thanks for the taste test 👍, Ali 🥶🌞🇨🇦

To be fair, it is something I have never thought about before, Mags. I used to grow Crispus and Brodie sprouts and thought they were nice, so I may get some for next year

Brussels sprouts taste test, only you could do that Steve 😂 what a great idea 💡👍😄 I'll never buy Brussel sprout seeds or plants in the same way ever again! Have a great week ❤

Yum yum. I love sprouts. Nice to see a taste test. Love the steamer but it’s a tad large for my kitchen I think. 🥴. All the best Steve. Mags

It is a bit but I use it so much that I have stopped putting it away LOL I made a big mistake with it some time back when i made a jam roly poly and all the fat and suet oozed out of the muslin cloth it was wrapped in! It too ages to clean it all 😂

Brigette is a nice one for an early sprout Steve if you can find seed, trouble is they withdraw stuff at the drop of a hat these days and try and flog you a new one! I always grew Brigette and Wellington but then I couldn't get wellington seed.

I'll look out for those Nick, cheers buddy! Edit: loads of places have 'Brigitte' - is this the same?

Yum!! Nice comparison Steve. We do like the wee ones here but all will do great! I growna variety that's for high winds. Otherwise, crazy and ever-present wind rock makes mine blow.

Hi Steve. Good to taste test different varieties. I've got Crispus this year. Darkmar was a complete flop and next year, im trying 'Brilliant'. My other half says, why dont you taste test some Walkers Brussel Sprout crisps? We love them. Somehow, I dont think they would make the christmas dinner plate lol. 🎄🤣⛄️🎅

Off to buy some later today! I may buy some Crispus and Brodie seeds as I used to grow those and liked them. Only stopped growing them as I ran out of seeds!

I do them always. With chestnuts is one of my favourites, then again roasting with honey mustard is great!

I love sprouts but it's a shame the shops don't tell us what variety. They label potatoes with variety .

My sprouts seem to have blown this year, I guess they became loose in the ground over the summer even though I do firm then in. Ahh well, might not bother next year. Be easier to freeze the 15p bag as I hardly eat them. Certainly no one else mad enough to do a sprout taste test lol.
