Incorrect, dangerous advice on rip currents. You should not float out with the current because it can take you out a long way, too far. One should always swim parallel with the shore to escape the rip current, and then swim back to shore.

I was born and raised in Chicago. Went to Oak Street Beach a lot in my teen years. Lake Michigan is so hugh, it should be called an inland sea.

If it was salt water: it would be a sea. Fresh water= lake/ salt = sea That's why it's a lake.

You should make sure that you are showing freshwater species. We do not have crabs. Some of the fish species shown were saltwater. Another pest to humans is swimmers itch. Look it up.

I have been diving Lake Michigan for 50 years. Out in the southern middle is a shipwreck named the Thomas Hume in 150 feet of water. On many days 20 or 30 feet down, you can see the wreck below you. Unbelievably surreal. and oh, you forgot to mention the giant black hairy creatures.
